My method involved:
1. Run in and avoid guards to the flame
2. Get beat down by a huge quantity of guards I aggroed on the entrance to the court
3. Ran all the way bac to Silvermoon, and rezzed next to the tree
4. Quickly use the flame, and Hearthstone out

No NPC's saw me after I rezzed, and the few players that were there (level 70, I'm 65) didn't seem to care since they were busy catching torches.

Works well, all things considered.

When you stolen all four cities of the opposite factions flames, and completed the quests of returning them, you unlock a final quest for a new hat.

Unsure if this is going to be patched with the rest of the Midsummer glitches or not, but I'm getting a "You have completed that quest" warning when try to use this, unlike the rest of the horde fires, which I have been able to repeat this year.

Picked it up at lvl 58. There's only 2 stationary guard spots, just at city entrance, and then at a portal right before the flame. Died at the first one, managed to shadowmeld safely at the second. Requires some luck with the patrols though.

A word of warning, those Arcane Guardians have Stealth detection so sneaking is pretty difficult to get past them without dying and running back out of their aggro range. Luckily I didn't run across more than a few of them when I got this a few minutes ago.

Undercity, Thunder Bluff and even Orgrimmar were easy compared to this.

I portalled from Shattrath to Isle of Quel'Danas and the plan was to run to Eversong Woods across the sea (Anglers' Water Striders on my mount), but I hit an invisible wall 150 yards from the mainland when I had about 10 seconds of fatigue left. So I died there and had to do a corpse run from Fairbreeze Village. At least I was able to rez on the right side of the wall, but it probably would have been quicker to fly in from Ironforge and run through Ghostlands, after all.

Once in SilverMoon City, I died a total of 4 times getting to the bonfire, due to having taken all my armor off and getting one-shotted by guards. If I was wearing my armor, I think I could have made it there in one run and just died once at the bonfire. (If you do die, preview the path you're gonna take to the bonfire while you're dead.) There is an alcove right around the corner from the bonfire (/way #110 65.46 40.73), where you can rez and psych up for the stealing.

I used my Touch of Karma as a Monk to deflect damage while I stole the flame. The Elders don't care what you're doing, it's the Silvermoon Guardians you have to watch out for. I was getting hit by a Midsummer Celebrant, but was able to run away without dying.

If you're a mage, you can do this in one death. Make sure you have both invisibilities talented in as well as the talent that speeds them up at first. Also used a Charged Phial of Alacrity for an extra boost.

- Use the first two to get to Murder Row in Silvermoon.
- I had just enough time after coming off the second in Murder Row to mount up and run to the flame.
- You'll have NPCs on you. Frost Nova them, get the flame and then let them kill you.
