Sorry to say, but for everyone who thinks the legendary bow is better there are some things to think about.
1) The legendary is in Sunwelll off the last boss
2) Good luck getting to the last boss, or even Sunwell
3) The legendary has an extremely low drop rate
4) You lose arrow DPS with the legendary
5) Despite the rating requirement and points this bow is still easier to get

When you look at it, the legendary MAY (arguably) be better but this seems to be a far more practical bow to get as long as you don't suck at PvP

i always wonder why u mention so much weapon attack speed. There is different rotation than 1:1 which u can fit into ur shots which will produce more DPS with slower weapon such is 3.00 speed. Tested and proved, badges crossbow is under Black bow of Betrayer, raid buffed up to 200 DPS even.
This bow is goin to be very good for any aspect of game, such as Golden bow of Quel'Thalas is actually the best bow till legendary ingame for all specs. Each of u is doin some calculations without considering server lag, KC clip and stuff like that.

I think every hunter needs a clarification of the pvp pve comparison to be able tojudge which ranged weapon is best for which occasion. I am really confused right now, cuz I have read on the net several different arguments:

1. some say minimum damage is the ONLY thing to look at
2. some say, Max damage is the only thing to look at
3. others claim slowest speed with best dps works best

Now I personally think, for a BM hunter, weapon speed is important, even in pvp. BUT obvisously you cannot use steady shot much often, so I am not talking about shot rotation here. You put down frost trap, you run away from warrior, you push arcane shot button, and if your weapon is slooow, warrior is at your face before autoshot timer finishes... Here you go... 0 DPS! lol

I would be grateful if someone experienced with pvp can clarify this issue, I have Tuskbreaker that I use for now, 2.9 speed, maybe not optimal for a BM, but I use it for both pvp and pve, and it gave me better results than Wolf Sniper at Dr. Boom. I usually top dps at raids. So in terms of pve I know what I am talking about. But pvp weapon? Should I go for S2 Weapon? would it imporve my performance at arena?

I really think that this is an underappreciated bow for transmogrification! Everyone seem to be using the bow from the season prior to this one, i.e. 仇恨鬥士長弓.

The Vengeful Longbow is indeed a nice-looking bow, but it is not quite as slender and elegant as the Brutal Longbow.
