This cloak is way better than the cloak from Kael'thas. 25 spell haste is hm... around 1.60% or something and 1.60% less casting time is much better than just getting a bit more dmg.

After getting hitcapped, this should be the main priority: Spell haste, spell dmg, spell crit. The reason why crit shouldn't be a priority is that it's much better to have a high sustained dmg from hits, than relying on crits to do much damage.

Now one of the best capes in the game for any caster, the only better ones I can find are the Illidari Council cloak and, ironically, the healing/haste cloak off Illidan himself. It remains to be seen whether there are upgrades to these in Sunwell, but the stats on the 3 capes above are all very close to equal. While the stats on Illidari Council appear a lot higher the crit is not as valuable simply because it doesn't scale as well point for point as haste.

As drayke said, the choice depends VERY much on the class and spec. Spriests get 1-1 ratio at 1.4spelldmg, el shammies prioritize crit up till 50% (or 60%?) and dont need jack of spellhit while fire mages will go after spellhit before anything else.

If you really want to shower us with advice, write for what class&spec you're writing it. We can only guess from comments above what people are playing.

For moonkins, this is second best cloak in the game.

Ran ZA dozens of times for this, and finally got it. Definitely nice for warlocks. Sidegrade or small upgrade to Nethervoid if you are easily hit capped elsewhere, and if your other gear is t6/sunwell quality. Too bad its so rare... you have to hope it decides to drop a cloak, *then* have to hope it drops *this* cloak, *then* win the roll :D

Completly fantastic cape to start a raiding career on. Easy to get since its off the first time chest; this cape is highest dps untill you get into black temple for mages/warlocks.
