So for the socket you can do:

Luminous Noble Topaz (9 healing, 4 int) which would make it have 5 more healing and -4 int (recommended).

Royal Nightseye (ignoring socket bonus, 9 healing 2 mp5) which would give it 5 more healing and 2 more mp5.

Dazzling Talasite (4 intellect, 2mp5) which would give it -4 intellect and 2 more mp5.

Which makes it still about the same as Bracers of Justice. Personally, I'd only get these if you don't have BoJ. However, these also are only 20 marks, not 40 like other pieces and is only ~12k honor which does make it somewhat easier to get.Though the socket does allow for more customization if you want mp5, more healing, or spell crit.

For any pally looking to increase their healing set, this is the one you should be aiming for upon hitting 70. For off spec palies there really are not a lot of bracers for you, and this one has a lot of + healing, decent stats, and is socketable. I recomend +9 healing and 2mp5, opposed to 3mp5 for off healers.
Only thing comparable for a non speced pally is the Primal surge Bracers http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28194

For Holy speced pallies socket whatever stat you need more of.

Great place to start out with for the wrist slot, as there really isn't any other piece to fill in the hole between either Crafting Blessed bracers http://www.wowhead.com/?item=23539, or Karazhan.
