Now that this can be purchased with Honor, it's a fairly easy to obtain multi-purpose weapon. Great +healing and enough +dmg to reach the recommended amount for a Paladin tank.

I'm planning to get this, add a +40 dmg/heal enchant, and put it to constant use with Prot and Holy spec as my needs change.

For people just starting on PvP healing gear, who can equip a dagger, Runed Dagger of Solace, from reg or heroic Bot, is fairly comparable and quite a bit easier to get. http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28322

As a paladin I still think that I would stick with the Shard of The Virtuous http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28522 over this for PVE for the MP5. It comes down to 25 healing vs. 6 MP5 and in a long fight the MP5 will make more of a difference, especially with the amount of overhealing you will probably do as a pally anyway. If you don't have much stam, the stam and resilience on this are nice, but for PVE they aren't as important as long as you have over 10k.

As a resto shaman this weapon really pwns when u just got 70 and got some honor to spend.. It gave me 214 more bonus heal then I had before.. love it

Available from 『打擊者』凱齊克 at Area 52 in Netherstorm.

For the purpose of transmog', it cost the same amount of honor as the merciless version (also same look). There is a natural glow which will overwrite enchant visuals, which i hear some people like. :)

This weapon brings back memories. It was the first epic healer weapon I got way back in the day, when welfare epics were introduced. Always loved staring at it...so shiny. So its just sentimental reasons I would buy this one.
