Me thinks some Pvp junkie only knows how to click the button. L2Raid and play as a team dude. PvE is so much harder to organise and actually do than the 10 mins a week needed to play 10 games of 2v2 or whatever. It took my guild about 4 raids in SSC before we killed our first boss, now that 4 raids at 4 hours a pop gives 16 hours with no boss loot, no with 16 hours continuous arena play you can have quite a bit if your team is ok, and if not then you can still get at least a MH weapon. PvP rewards should be suited to PvP and PvE suited towards PvE but the rewards in PvE should recognise the difficulty in getting the groups for it and technically should be better than anything from PvP IMO!

The whole point of Arena is to be skill based. If you see someone wearing greens and an epic weapon maybe hes a skilled player? You can't assume that just because someone is in greens that they are a bad player. Maybe they have other things to do other than WoW? Take that into consideration before you blow your lid on "Raiding is harder". Good luck to all you casual arena teams, I hope you all do well.

Costs 1125 Arena points (S2).
The weapon is available at a new vendor next to the the Season 1 vendor in Area 52.

Update, Patch 2.2 (PTR):
-This item is now 1.50 speed (8.13.2007).

Patch 2.1.x:
-Compared to last season's Left Ripper (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28314), this one has undergone a significant change. Aside from the stat and dps improvements, the speed has been changed from 1.50 to 1.80; that may not seem like much, but the weapon is now a bit too slow for Combat Rogues. Fast offhands are essential for Combat Potency procs (+15 nrg) and Shiv. Luckily, the Season 2 offhand mace and sword are still 1.50 speed:

On the other hand, some say that Shamans now benefit from this speed change.

Thinkin about picking this up on my shaman, as an offhand and combined with the fel edged battleaxe http://www.wowhead.com/?item=23542 . Obviously gonna be a heavy ap/crit WF enhance shammy.. It would be good with Shamanistic Rage, and its a little bit slower than all the other Gladiator offhands

For some reason this is at 1.8 speed unlike every other offhand Arena weapon which is at 1.5 speed, I really hope this is changed.

Is this absolutely horrible for a hunter to use with a felsteel longblade as a main hand? From what I can see it's pretty nice and I'm not too found of the kara drops *minus gorlhowl*

How does this compare to slower weapons now that 3.0 is live? Is it worth getting something this fast for use with flametongue and lava lash, or is it still better to use two slow weapons with WF+WF?
