Any class that would want to actually use this sword would be much better off getting the Halaani Claymore (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30597). You'd probably be doing this quest at at least level 66, and that sword is much easier to get and way better. Do this quest, vendor this sword, and go buy the Halaani Claymore.

For a Blood-specced DK, a better pick would actually be the much-easier-to-obtain Helboar Carving Blade, attained from a quest at the Cenarion Expedition camp in western Hellfire Peninsula. It has a slightly lower DPS, but the higher damage and the better Agility (for +crit) and Stamina boosts makes it the better choice for the character who already has several instant attacks at their disposal.

Epic Sword for a 63 Ret Paladin. I had gotten Shaarde the Greater (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25944) From Mana Tombs at 60. Shame, This blew it away.

This sword is the only sword that Alliance players can obtain with this particular skin. Blood Elves have the option of picking up the Bloodhawk Claymore early on, which looks the same as this sword.

With 4.3's Transmogrification coming around, I'll definitely be using this awesome-looking sword.

At least until I get this.

EDIT: Bloodhawk Claymore cannot be used for transmogrification, meaning that this sword is the only one with this skin in the entire game.

Just a heads up. If you are looking to go back to get this as a transmog. Make sure you are in a current loot specialization that will allow the sword. If not it will not show up as a quest reward. I was in holy spec and only option I had was the neck. Changed to ret before turn in and sword was available.

This is one of the most unique looking swords in the game, not many people know about it and there are only 2 swords with it's model in the entire game, and this is the only one that can be transmogrified. It's overall really good, it's quite simplistic yet it looks ''special'' and stands out, perfect for both fans of simple weapons and those that want a little more ''fantasy'' in their weapons without going too far into the exaggerated sizes and designs of others. Any fan of old school ''magic'' weapons that retained some kind of realistic look will probably like this sword. A favorite of mine and recommended for any class that can use two handed swords, mainly Warriors, looks cool in any race and looks even cooler with enchantments.

as a fury warrior that can dual wield two-handed swords, when I use this in both hands, only the main hand gets the sword with animation. The off-hand gets the sword, but without animation. Submitting SS - Sent in a ticket on this and the GM said it's a bug.
