I can see this going to Dreamstate-Resto druids due to their heavy use of Intellect and + Healing (10% of intellect regened every 5 seconds, 25% of intellect to healing and spelldamage).

Not saying it won't be awesome for priests and Shamans aswell, but Priests especially use more Spirit based itemization.

Mana / 5 rocks for any healer though.

This staff is sweet for any healer, but I would agree that Druids and Priests may be more interested in the BT staff (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32344). However, for those of you strictly speaking in terms of a 1h/off hand combo having more +healing than either staff...you're correct...but goodluck finding that amount of intellect/stamina on anything other than the staves. And those two stats are greatly overlooked by a lot of people. You could have 2500 +healing, but wtf good is it if you've got 7k health and always get one-shotted by the trash your heals aggro ;)

Forgive any math that is off (although I believe it's correct), but as you can see the only real benefit from the 1h/OH combo is more +healing, all other stats are sacrificed.

So, as a preist, I'd aim my sights for the Staff od Immaculate Recovery over a 1h/OH =)

There is no spirit but that is fine because of the 'Restores 23 mana per 5 sec' stat.. Very nice.

I have a hard time seeing a shaman take this staff. Compare to the ZA shield and the mace from Vasj, and you get about the same stats plus 5500 armor.

Patch 4.3 brings good news for those who love the artwork on this staff as much as Tcat and myself!

You’ve been asking for it, and we were listening. In patch 4.3 you’ll be able to customize the appearance of your weapons and armor like never before.

The Ethereals, emerging from the nether, will bring with them a new technology they call Transmogrification. They’re heading to the capital cities of Azeroth to set up shop and to offer adventurers a unique service -- copying the appearance of one magical item onto another. They only ask for a modest gold donation to recoup their costs.

Visiting a Transmogrifier will present players with a new interface that will allow them to change the appearance of an item while retaining its original stats. This means that you can raid in your paladin tier 12 Immolation set, but look like you’re wearing Lightbringer, while priests can bring Benediction back -- at least in spirit. Hunters can once again roam the jungles of Stranglethorn Vale in their tier 2 Dragonstalker set. You could even slip into the saucy tailored Black Mageweave set for that matter. You know, with the thigh highs, and the little gloves, and the cute little… ahem.

Yep, I expect this to be one of the incoming farmables. Lucky me I've had it for a long time now ^^

Btw, if anyone is interested in a set that would look well with this, try looking up the Transcendence recolored set (farmable tbc dungeon blues).

Actually I intend to farm transcendence, however most pieces drop on BC HEROIC instances...

So I know how to access normal BC instances (just getting there by foot and entering the vortex, but how CAN we do that for HEROIC mode ? Is there something to toggle on ?
Please answer I dunno how to access HEROIC BC instances to farm stuff... (without using the dungeon tool, coz I want to solo of course) !

For an item with 17% drop rate, this thing sure takes its sweet time to drop. Pretty easy to solo past 90, but before it can be quite tricky. Second to last boss can roll over you quick if you underestimate him.

The final boss of 6.2 (Archimonde from the alternate timeline) drops an updated model of this called 阿古斯敕令, an obvious throwback to this weapon.

If you're trying to get this, be careful, as the raid is bugged. Once you get past the 1st area, the second area is bugged and you cannot proceed as the enemies timer is messed up. Ticket submitted, I'll post once I hear back from them (if I do hear back)
