dropped for us last night, trash as usual

i already had the edge walker longboots from moroes (dropped for us ages ago , with no-one else to use them in the group) so even those these are better for me i passed them to the rogue in the group as they were an upgrade for him

thankfully tho he refused and i ended up with them and a very happy fuzzy tank

While I agree with the above comments, these boots wouldn't be too bad for a rogue either. No, I'm not saying they should have priority; there are equally (if not more) suitable rogue boot drops in Karazhan, but you can't really guarantee they'll drop either. So, don't be too shocked if the rogue decides to roll need for these too.

Do tell me that you're kidding? For a rogue, those boots are, quite horrible to say the least. Strength is really of no use to us anymore, its a druid stat these days.

Seriously, there are BLUE items that are better for rogues than these, easily obtainable from quests,
instances or whatever. If you're a rogue, I wouldn't roll on this. Its better off to disenchant it, than to give it to a rogue.

If you're a rogue and wan't good epic boots, go get the ones from Aran, or Moroes. Cause these plain suck.

How are these compared to the Heavy Clefthoof Boots if you're a non-leatherworking druid (thus not getting the bonus) and uncrittable with both? I've got a slight aggro problem, so perhaps that makes up for the loss of stamina (and gems). I'd like some input please :)

one mildly important thing to keep in mind is that as a druid in bear these shoes actually give more armor given the armor from agility than the clefthoof boots, still, the difference is nominal.

The only bummer is that these are BOP - got them off a trash mob when I was in Kara farming for pets on my 90 monk. They look great though, so at least they work for transmog purposes! Good luck to anyone trying to go for them and congrats to those who found them!

look alikes of the rogue t3 "Bonescythe" set, I would suggest if you are going to farm these to farm by clearing the first part without killing moroes, since alot of trash there and its easy to clear without having to run so far into the instance

Tips for a rogue

Take burst of speed, combat readiness, elusiveness, glyph of feint, and glyph of sprint. Battle horn is recommended. I preferred combat so I could killing spree to avoid stuns while finally killing them all. Make sure you keep up feint and obviously keep burst of speed up to save time.

When you run in, take a left, grab all the horses and ghosts, go past midnight, grab everything. Run up the stairs and go anticlockwise around the room past the exit, grab those there, and use combat readiness here as you have to backtrack and you're most likely going to get stunned by the horses and ghosts. Into the kitchen, grab everything (probably best place to use battle horn), run back a bit and past moroes. Don't aggro him of course, aggroing one mob from a table aggros them all, run out of this room and onto the next. Grab everything, up the stairs, run towards the theatre and continue to grab all the mobs. I use the battle horn in the middle of the theatre crowd here and smoke bomb+cloak. Evasion a few seconds later, then when the mobs have caught up a bit, blade flurry ON and killing spree, FoK to finish them off. Auto loot and pray. Run out and reset.

Total run is about 150-200 mobs, not sure on the exact figure but I'm hitting way over 100 with my FoK after spreeing.

These boots match the transmog set "Bonescythe Armor". They have the same model as the original Bonescythe Sabatons, which no longer drop from bosses but may appear in the Black Market occasionally.

On my second pass through the Servant's Quarters, Stables, Banquet Hall and Guest Chambers I got these. At 100 a full run (no bosses) and reset takes just under 4 minutes and is just about guaranteed to contain an epic trash drop.

My advice is to save the stables for last so that you don't get stunned on your way through.

For all you guys wondering if these still drop after the implementation of secrets of Naxxramas - they do, I just looted them after appr. 25 runs up until theater event. They dropped in the big entrance dancing hall. Good luck farming and saving those 400k.
