I guess these drop from Void Reaver? :)

Despite looking nice stat-wise(hunter perspective), you may want to compare these to Demon Stalker Greaves(http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29083). Unless you're hit-capped or pursuing raw AP these pants are just a side-grade. Say, you socket these with 2x16 AP gems and 1x8 hit gem. Then you get +4 agility, +3 stamina, -1 intellect and -4 hit rating from the "upgrade". Somewhat disappointing, I'd say.

And if you're looking for pure DPS set, you might want to still wear Scaled Greaves of the Marksman(http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30739) instead of these.

I'm no expert in shamen, so I'll let one of them comment about thse from shaman's POV :)

If you put 2xBold Ornate Ruby's and a Brutal Tanzanite you could potentially get ~132ap, 33 stam, 29int(with bonus). demon gives ~110ap 24stam, 26int 16hit.

You lose quite a bit of hit, but gain some decent stats. the fact that it's possible to put higher quality gems in as you go through the game makes it a fair upgrade. demon stalker stats are static.

As far as the Scaled Greaves goes.. you're right they are better for pure dps but at a huge cost. 33stam and 29int are hard to pass up as a raiding hunter.

Lovely for a Survival Hunter. Of course so are Scaled Greaves of the Marksman. So whichever crosses your path first.

These still beat T5 for a Survival Hunter after the stats buff.

If you are interested, this texture is the same of the Hunter's T5 one. They differ only in colors. This one is brownish, while the Rift Stalker Set is blueish.
