Not worth the badges unless you have already purchased everything else you want. You can run non-heroic old hillsbrad and get cloak of impulsiveness (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=27423#M0z) which is nearly identical to this cape (-3 agility, -2 stamina, -6 attack power) and save your badges for a bloodlust brooch, ring of arathi warlords, etc.

Edit: But if you're big on looks this might just be worth the badges :P sexiest cloak in game by far.

The Cloak of Malice is your a great alternative with similar stats. For DPS classes, Blood Knight only gives you an extra .57 DPS gain from Malice, and 30 HP which is negligible really... so unless you are in dire need of DPS gear, then I would advise not to go crazy grabbing Badges of Justice for this. It is a sexy cloak tho, but the expense might be better spent on Bloodlust Brooch (41 Badges OUCH!) http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29383 also sold by the Sha'tar Vendors.

Here's a small list of feasible alternatives that are a good bit easier to acquire. I put in parenthesis the points gained/lost from using these cloaks vs. Blood Knight.

Rogues actually want to "settle" for ~15% hit +5% from Precision (assuming combat raiding rogue) which is ~225-250hit

Good Rogues hang out at around the cap of 304 without gimping other stats..

I'm sitting at 270hit with Cloak of the Inciter and am pickin this up as soon as I get the badges. Bought the BB and CoV Intent already.

As for why no Dark Reavers, 14 shade kills - 0 drops. Eventually you get sick of waiting :)

This is a fine cloak. Reavers is way better for rogue. The hitcap is 310. (309 but due to display issue it is 310), And alll rogues should be here. if u need the hit, get Inciter or Reaver when it drops, if you need the AP, Get this.

If you were thinking of buying this, stop and farm Ahune instead (at least until July 4th).

However, for 50 more badges you can get Dory's Embrace, which is better than this.

Other poster correct, Hit cap for Rogues is now 363. Very very few Rogues try to hit the hit-cap (Especially because in T6 Content, Haste becomes a suitable replacement for the stat) and as said most Rogues will hang between 300-320 Hit Rating in end-game raiding.

This is a nice, easy to obtain starter cloak. However as a Rogue, you need to be trying to get 200 or so Hit Rating before going in to Karazhan, and although you'll gain hit rating in there, you really should gem for it as at lower levels, each point of hit is worth more then the equivalent 2 points of AP or 1 point of Agility.

IE
8 Hit Rating > 8 Agility > 16 AP

In gem choice.

What no one has mentioned in any of these comments, and is most relevant about buying this instead of farming the Cloak of Blade turning, is this - G'ERAS WON'T SHOW THIS IN INVENTORY FOR ALL CLASSES UNLESS YOU CHANGE THE DROP DOWN SELECTION TO "ALL". As a ret pally I could not see this in the class/spec specific items, I had to actually change the setting to view "All" before it was available to me.
