Just did this little calculation for myself that i thought i'd share:

In comparison with its most likely contender: Bladed Shoulderpads of the Merciless (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28755).

Here are 3 different gem set ups and what the comparison will be.
(the %'s may be like...0.1% out or so)

Myself being a combat rogue...If i wanted to take these for the set bonus, i'd go with 2x Glinting Noble Topaz. Then again i've got a fair bit of +hit and i'm lacking AP so i may go with 2x Bright Living Ruby.

Basically you're always going to gain some attack power, stamina and dodge from this "upgrade". You're also always going to lose some crit and hit. How much of each stat you gain/lose and the balance you wish to achieve is up to you.

good shoulders, dropped for me
Got and Recomend : Aldor 30AP- 10 crit.
with a 20AP PVP gem and a 16 AP gem.

total : 134 AP
: 42 stam
: 20 agi ( about 0,6% crit)

again PVE shoulders, not enough Stam and no resilience for PVP

This is part of Tier 4 Raid set (lvl 70) . You can obtain this item from 阿羅迪斯‧日刃 if you are friendly with 占卜者 , or from 阿蘇爾 whitch is member of 奧多爾. You need appropriate token to purchase this item.
