This thing really does stink for an epic. There are bracers that drop only 2 bosses later of maiden of virtue: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28515. When i got these (mage), i didnt even bother to enchant them, and just waited for the maiden bracers to drop. Its pretty bad when theres bracers so much better, only 2 bosses away

I wish people wouldn't confuse 'not great for me' with 'crap'. Believe it or not, there are in fact classes who like Spirit. DPS Priests, both Shadow and Holy (yes, there are some out there), and Arcane Mages could do a lot worse than these. The latter especially, since the scaling of Spirit-regen with Int announced in 2.4.

Personally, I'm really stoked about getting these for my new Mage alt.

These bracers have some value for priests (and maybe a small value for druids) who have specced 3/3 in Meditation (Druid: Intensity) as the spirit are being "converted" to mp5, a useful thing for all healing classes, only though priests and druids have this talent.
Mages and warlocks should just farm 11 794 honor points + 20 wsg marks and buy these: Vindicator's Dreadweave Cuffs. Nowadays can you earn honor VERY fast, so it shouldn't be any problem.
