The Gladiator's Salvation (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32451) and Merciless Gladiator's Salvation (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32964) are definitely better than this. However, this is much easier to obtain. It has just as much resilience on it as the Season 2 mace and a nice amount of +healing and stamina for a blue. Would be a great weapon to have in the Arena while you're working on the points for one of the better weapons.
