It's definetly a nice thing to have for a paladin tank. But I wouldn't use it in tanking serious stuff, you can get better trinkets for that. It would be extremely usefull when tanking for guildies in places where your defense is actually a bit to high, meaning you don't get hurt much, you don't get healed much, you don't get mana much, you can't tank much, in wich case this trinket will help you gain some mana. Or for solo aoe'ing several groups solo.

the only ones who could use this are shamans or paladins...i fyou are clothie don't be a stiff ...you die with 1-2 hits....this won't even proc if a lock or mage use it because you will be dead by then.

Well, I definitely would not use this for tanking anything serious, there are much better tanking trinkets for bosses in Karazhan and beyond. Also, given the lack of stats and the fact that even as a paladin with 16k armor I can only take so many hits in PVP, this trinket is worse then others for PVP.

Where this trinket shines, as mentioned, is prot pally AOE grinding. Gather up 10 mobs, pair this with the Figurine of the Collosus trinket, and aoe farm with retribution aura and holy shield and consecrate and blessing of sanctuary and etc. This trinket is awesome for this because it keeps your mana up for more holy shield and consecration casts. Every paladin who has had experience with AOE tanking knows about the possible mana issues, and this trinket cuts that problem in half.

My only negative comment is its rare proc. Seems like once a minute at most.

This is mainly just a trinket for getting really high resilience for PvP. This or the exalted CoT trinket, combined with the +20 resilience PvP trinket is quite nice and worth getting if you want to do serious PvP.

Apperently this is a horrible paladin tanking trinket.

It has 2 percent chance to proc, then the proc has 1 min invisible cooldown before attacks made after that 1 min can proc, by 2 percent chance.

Resilience is completely useless in PVE, you should go for more def or more stam.

Assuming you got this to proc exactly every 1 minute to match the cooldown, you'd have a 33 res., 21.33 MP5 trinket.

When I did 49 pvp on my shaman, I knew I was getting into melee all the time. I really was. Anyone was more than happy to come and rip me to pieces whenever possible. Elemental shamans need to be stopped somehow. I found Uther's Strength and Mark of the Chosen to be the two best trinkets for that pvp bracket. They procced all the time. The Uther's Strength has a hidden effect that gives you casting interruptable by taking damage as long as the shield holds, by the way.

Guess this one has a hidden cd as some say. But I'm often in combat for 2-3 minutes before dying :P sometimes more. Wouldn't be surprised to see it procc 2-3 times sometimes before I respawn. That's a little extra mana, and as elemental shammy you can believe I burn mana fast. Of course, you've always got pots, innervates, symbol of hope, water.. :D

The resillience is the nice part of it. The little extra mana is a bonus. That's how I see it.

I have this trinket with my shaman and I think the invisible cooldown isn't necessary considering the low procc-chance and the mana gained, so the only reason to keep this trinket would be the resilence-value. I would like to see a similiar trinket buyable with honor or something, stronger than that.

I thought I might try this trinket out on my Disc/Holy priest in arenas. Seeing as I end up tanking a lot of the time, I thought I might find some benefits from it - beyond the obvious advantage of the +resilience.

After about a week with it, I can say that I don't think it is as valuable as the talisman. It's nice to have, but probably better for other classes.

im confused.. i tried it in SM while running a friend... gathered up 15 mobs and let them go to town.. didnt see one proc.. is there some hidden lvl requirement?? im going to try again but really dissapointed.. this trinket would be leet for vc, sm, strat, or any other enchanting mats run...

I'm curious about the use of this trinket while you have Power Word: Shield active on you. Do the attacks that are absorbed still count as "hits" able to proc the mana return?

Doing entire deadmines in one pull (just for the amount of mobs), I can tell it no longer has a hidden Cooldown. Once I turned my back to the mobs I got 4-5 procs per 10 seconds. Very usefull indeed if you're a prot paladin AoE grinding / boosting instances.

The problem however, stuff must hit you. Dodges and Parries don't work. Block is impossible to tell after my check since I got hit about 100 times each second.

My point: No hidden cooldown, regained me 100% mana in 30 seconds (prot pally 4,5k mana). Had to heal afterwards.

Does Blessing of Sacrifice proc this baby? I don't have it so I cannot test it myself. If it does I see some applications in 5vs5 and some AoE Raid fights (put BoS on a tank or a focus target in arena).
