For Enhancement Shaman all the way. High top end damage. Perfect attack speed. Best axe available to those who cannot get the craftable axes and gladiator axes. Amazing graphics model. All around the most exciting item I've gotten in a while, especially since heroic Crypts is one of the easier heroics in game.

After a few runs in Karazhan, I finally have The Decapitator. I need to get a weapon for my OH (I'm a DW shammy) that isn't too much faster than it. The Harvester of Souls is a nice choice while I spend the next few weeks in the Arena to get the nice 2.6 speed 1H axe : )

Heroic crypts is nothing to snub your nose at. Warriors/shaman that are looking into getting one of these, chances are that you'll have to spec prot/resto to do it. Heroic crypts requires a large amount of CC, and classes/specs like DPS warriors/enhancement shaman don't really have a place there. It's a difficult instance, but with great rewards: Doomplate legs (with gloves offer an incredible amount of + hit spread out across 2 items), harvester of souls, fanblade pauldrons, all good stuff. Just don't get frustrated, you'll be wiping a lot. I did, and that's as a 2/5 t5 warrior with comparabaly geared companions. Not an easy zone!

One of the very few dps one-handers that have strength!
In WotLK all dps one-handers had agility/attack power, but with the re-introduction of Warriors dual-wielding one-handers, together with Death Knights, there will be a lot more strength-based one-handers coming in Cataclysm.

This is a very lovely axe for transmogrifiying and matches the Paladin T5 (Crystalforge Raiment / Crystalforge Armour / Crystalforge Battlegear) very well. As a tank or healer, this would look fantastic together with Aldori Legacy Defender.

From a transmog point this axe WILL hide particle effects. I currently use this to hide the Landslide enchant on my rogues 狡詐者的刀刃 and while the gold glow from the enchant still shows it seems the purple glow from the axe overrides the dust particles that come streaming off from landslide. I'll try and get a pic submitted to show the difference.
