Totally unpopular as this comment will be, I'll just have to grin and bear the pain! =)
I'm a big boy now.

I think this trinket is all belt and no trousers and really is just a jack of all trades master of none.
We all seem to be wigging out over the fact that it has all these randomised effects.

I've seen it listed on several BiS tables for Dudu Tank.
The problem with it, as I see it is that, I want to lean in to my trinkets when they proc or I fire them up.
I like that predictability. When you have a trinket firing off at random its harder to do that.

And in this case you might not like what you get:
* Rotting Voidfin Stat DEBUFF -44 all secondary stats (can't remove)

Yes, these two below are dead good but they ultimately share proc time with #$%^ above or a stat that doesn't particularly serve your build or spec.
* 50-Lb Midnight Salmon All secondary buff ~222 haste/crit/vers/mast
* Slick and Slimy Gralstone ~350 haste 25% move speed

If you wanted an alternative that functioned in spirit and more reliably then rock a few Delves
Get yerself a Hero track drop of

Delve trinkets (quite unfairly) are the Red-Headed Step-child of World of Warcraft.
They are dismissed and ridiculed because they have no Myth track version even tho that higher track offers but a modest upgrade on Hero track.
Some players who rock M+ might never see these raid trinkets and if they do it'll be locked to Heroic track anyhow.

Closing remark: If it can be fished up in the raid (as posited above by 'Jean' - take a moment and ask yerself
If blizzard are willing you let you get it without over coming a raid boss challenge -rather you just sit and fish for it.
How good can it realistically be?
