I found this one on the upper excavation area. I had to climb the hills to the far right of the valley, following the wooden boards upward. Warning - there's a level 29 Mob up there as well.

I saw this in three different places. The location I picked it up at was 37 42. I have also seen it behind the tree going up towards the quest giver. It has also been spotted by the upright boards near the large dino bones. I also saw it in the first gulley as you enter the excavation site.

Confirmed found near Sarltooth. Follow the wooden boards upward at the south end.

Well all i can say is, this quest fails...No matter where I go there is NO VASE ANYWHERE! I've been searching for oh idk about a good hour! And I've killed reptiles the whole time as well and no ancient relic dropped....Blizz killed wetlands with stupid poor drop rate quests..
