The problem with this hat is it's not really specialised, and therefore not worth it.

A moonkin doesn't really need the str or agility, despite the fact we melee at times. A moonkin would perhaps be better with
Moonkin Headdress http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25710

Melee could just as easily get Styling Purple hat, or something better. And healers can look for something alot better than this.

stop thinking of druids as a straight healing/tanking/dps class! although a druid can just tank/heal/dps if he wants, lots of druids do many tasks at once, especially in pvp- my guild and i do a heroic maybe once or twice a week, and its very common that i have to jump out of cat form to do a bit of spot healing or tanking, or even just to throw a moonfire in there for good taste :P

This hat serves two additional purposes. It is an excellent retribution paladin DPS hat (has all the stats they need) and it is great to level up leatherworking with. It stays yellow until 370 and the mats are relatively easy to obtain. :)

The drop rate may have increased on this. I just ran Black Morass (heroic) and had both this and the Arcane Armor Kit recipe drop in the first run. I also may just have been lucky...

Was ready for a big grind. 1st run (not even Heroic, which is what was intended), it dropped.

Ran CoT:EFD, ran once to finish the quest, and 2 more runs for just the Riflemen and Stylin' Adventure Hat recipe dropped.

Did 6 runs at Shadow Labyrinth and got the Stylin' Purple Hat recipe.

Setthek Halls I probably have 20 runs at, still no Stylin' Crimson Hat.

I got mine the second time I ran it in heroic. It dropped off of a lord about half way through the instance. So glad it didn't take weeks to get it. Great for transmog.

Still dropping. Better dropchance on Heroic, Farmable on Heroic: Just let last boss kill Medivh, reset and start over. Good luck.

Took me 2HC and about a dozen normal runs to finally get this. Kinda low drop chance, need luck to get it fast.

So i did some Normal runs for the pattern.
After my first run i was kinda confused why ATT (All the things) Addon shows the pattern to drop
by some Rift Keeper and Rift Lords but not by all of them.

I found out there are 4 different mobs that can spawn by any portal.

The Rift keeper with the ID 裂隙看守者 & 裂隙看守者
The Rift Lord with the ID 裂隙領主 & 裂隙領主

Only the first of these two drop the pattern. The other does not.
