These marks are a type of currency that can be used to purchase pvp gear in two locations (Horde side).

Makrs can be obtained by pvping at Hellfire Peninsula's pvp towers.

You can get these pretty fast by being in a raid group and just hang out in a tower and hold it for from the opposing faction. Every killing blow someone gets in your raid gives everyone in the groups within a 100 yards or so a mark.

I got one in Zangarmarsh and observe that these are also created by the "Zangar PvP buff" here. I captured both beacons and converted the graveyard to Horde side in Zangarmarsh, then when I checked my bags I had one token. I had killed several Alliance players in the process of doing this. Does anyone know what I could have done that created just a single mark?

In Hellfire Peninsula you get 1 mark for killing a flagged alliance within a tower zone and 3 for complete the quest where you cap all 3 towers.

Is there some lvl requirement? Im a lvl 70 hunter and rarely get marks even if the rest of the group do. This includes ppl who yield honor

Even if you engage a target of appropriate level in the area of the PvP objectives, if they die outside the area of the PvP objectives, you get no mark. Weak.

i was thinking i'd have to wait 5 days to get that ring on my druid, but i ended up getting lucky and pvping for like 30-45 mins and ended up with 49x Marks of Thrallmar

This is because a member of your party or raid was the one who ended up scoring the killing blow while you were in range.

With the battleground marks listed in the Currency tab (no longer taking up bag/bank space), I'm not sure why they didn't do the same for these. :(

Just got someone to die 30 times for me for 1k gold, both happy, only took a few minutes. First I cap both towers and the GY in zangarmarsh on my alliance char, then get someone to come to the middle and keep spirit rezing.

Since all Relics now offer stats in place of beneficial effects, there's no Relics available for Feral Druids.
You're better off with the 荒野塑像 from Hellfire Peninsula.
Save your Marks for 征服印記.

Might be a bug from the Legion pre-patch, but the strength gem you can buy for these marks gives 70 strength!, compared to the agility and intellect ones that only give 7.

Just a brief update, because there's been no fresh info for quite a while. You get 3 of these from an initial quest, and then you can get 3 more once per day from a daily quest. Your faction cannot already control the towers, so you have the best chance to get this done on a more even realm where both horde and alliance might occasionally capture towers. You can also do it right after a server restart, because all towers will be neutral.

Main reason someone might look to get these nowadays is transmog hunters going after the bow and/or wand. Both cost 15 marks each.

Isn't it about time you added these to the currency tab, almong with all the other currency that's taking up precious bag space? WoD (Follower crap, Shipyard crap) BFA (Mechagon( and SL (Korthia, Zereth Mortis) are terrible for it too.
