I'd probably put a +4 to hit +6 sta talasite in the yellow socket for this helm. Second Sight is great for the +hit and +crit, and it sort of sucks that this doesn't have the +hit. But, in arena, stamina reigns supreme...

Another good alternative would be the plate engineering goggles...http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32461.
They are better then the arena helm and since you only need 4 pieces for all the set bonuses, this is a no brainer for engineers.

ya get more str, more sta and either more crit (depending on your choice of a yellow gem) or less crit n less hit (-4crit rating -5hit rating)

I would say that looking at the numbers i would Defo choose the Gladiator´s plate helm. looking at my hit rating i would personaly put a +8crit gem in it. meaning i would lose 15hit rating but gain more crit, str, sta and armor. (and +25resilience rating)

I like this gear but but I only PVP to get this gear, no arena for me. Any ideas of how to socket, I was looking at Powerful Earthstone Diamond for the Meta but it requires 3 blues and only 3 red and 3 yel total in this gear. I too am a bit concerned about a lack of Hit Rating. I want to load more Stam also even though this gear has a bunch.

Any ideas of which belt and boots would complement this set.

For PvE, you'd lose a lot of hit going from Overlord to the gladiators, but you'd gain a meta gem (which can be used for Relentless earthstorm for more damage) if you can handle losing the hit. The Warbringer seems better for PvE.

For PvP, the gladiator's more stamina and resiliance make it king. You don't need much hit for pvp so that doesn't effect calculations much here.

So, in conclusion, it seems like blizzard did their job here, the PvP helm is better for pvp, and the pve helm is better for pve...

This is part of Arena Season 1 Set (lvl 70) . You can obtain this item from 『打擊者』凱齊克 in 虛空風暴 for 750 or1000 .For people who can't be bothered looking through Area 52 for him, he is inside the building closest to the flight point, obviously inside the walls.
