Honestly, for enhancement shammies it's not that much better than the Bonechewer Berserker's Vest from Hellfire Peninsula, even fully socketed unless you put expensive blues in it. Not really worth the effort imo, it's nice but not THAT nice.

The good thing is you can socket it for some +hit but you'd lose some AP in the process.

im getting tired of the Underbog... I have been down there boosting almost three lvls now, and it never seems to drop ever... i had a friend with one time, and the other hunter items just dropped one after another, talking about the bracers and the crossbow, but that was the only time that dropped for me... so i am getting very tired of trying to get this... but i really want the whole set though T.T...

If you get this item, please gem it asap, you will be very happy, hunter/shaman or whatnot.!

Even into Cata, this item still has Intellect, though the Attack Power previously present has been turned into Agility. Either way, this item on my hunter is a reminder of those old days when hunters didn't dare pull with a trap and actually needed intellect. Sigh... still awesome dps stats, and those 3 sockets really do make it alot better. Just toss in a few cheap Wrath epic +agi's in there and you've got yourself a piece that will last into Northrend.
