Is it me and just bad rng or did the drop rates on these majestic materials get nerfed? 4 characters for the past 2 days have dropped me maybe 3 claws and maybe 1 fin; I usually get at least 1 hide.

Just to be shure I get this right. For crafting 10 pieces of leather gear for 6 characters, a drop chance of 1 out of 10 and a daily reset, this is 600 days?
And about 600 hours of fishing for the lure?
Plus a few hundered days and hours for profession equipment?

Wow... still haven't had a single one drop.
These seem to be unbelievably difficult to get. It's currently a stone wall to making useful armor or decor.
BTW MULTIPLES of these are required to make a single decor piece!

So after a bit of research, it looks like they may have made these daily drops account wide. I ran these on a second toon and every kill gave me a "Torn Material" instead of the majestic materials.
I plan to double check this again tomorrow and see if this is the case, but if so, boooooooo.

Seems odd that the profession of Leatherworking requires this mat to get the superior-leveled knife. Does any other profession have a tool or accessory that requires such a rare, sought-after mat than this? I have LW, and I feel bad for us that we're going through such a hoop to get a knife. Not even epic. Superior. Make it make sense, Blizzard.

kinda wondering if the reason for the insanely non-existant drop rates is to help blizz make sure to sell more coins so people that dont have loads of gold to buy them legally and then use that gold to buy the insane priced items? No wonder why Blizz has been getting dumped on so much lately..things like this for sure would definitely raise questions of is it actually by design to sell more wow tokens in the long run because if you don't want to wait and you need 20+ hides or even the claws you're going to run out of gold rather quickly more than likely so the only legal way to get a good chunk of gold would be via tokens without risking a ban. I really do hope this isn't the case but at the same time though I know blizz loves to time gate us to death for sure.. these items are just too insanely low of a drop rate tbh.

Did they nerf the drop rate or something? 4 days in a row with two maxed-out skinning characters, and I've not gotten so much as a claw.

I don't know why, but before this latest patch (12.0.5), I was sometimes getting 4 hides from a single mob! I'm not sure if it was pure luck or if something was actually bugged. It didn't happen every day, but about 3 times a week I would manage to get 3-4 hides from one mob!

I usually only play 1 character, but I recently started playing an alt, and now I can barely get 1 hide a day using both characters! Has anyone else experienced this?

The argument could be made, i suppose, that the Superb Beast Fang was too easy to get in War Within.

The solution they settled on for Midnight is far worse.

EDIT: On the bright side, they seemed to have listened to peoples' complaints that they don't drop enough.

Not to make them drop more often, but when I used moxie to buy bags of skinners' and leatherworkers' materials this week, each gave at least one of multiple of the renowned/majestic beast drop materials. That didn't used to happen when I bought those.

I havent seen a single one of these drop in well over a week, maybe 10 days. Looting all three beasts every day with epic tools, max talents, tea and perception pot, plus Sharpen Knife. Anyone else running into this?

Edit. Been 5 more days and have seen 1 drop.

This item is proof that the average WoW player's financial literacy is close to zero. In just three days, I watched the price drop from 4999g to 3800g with people constantly undercutting each other by just a few gold for 2 hides.
