I did this today at level 7. By the time I ran around to all of the places I was 10. Mostly had to death flop everywhere. If my guild had an available warlock of lev 60 this could be done very fast. It took me roughly 5 hours to run barefoot to all of the places. Many on my server said it couldn't be done.

These are not enchantable by items, I wanted to slap Flame Mantle of the Dawn on it, but they're not "valid" target even though they have armor on them.
For comparison: Noble's Monocle
I put +100hp on it and it didn't even get soulbound... Way to go Blizzard those +5fres would fit item of this sort :(

Good news for people who are in need of tokens.

You can now return or re-sell back the shoulder for 100 tokens. Not for shoes and chest though.

Seems like they've severely reduced the fire effect, which is disappointing. I logged onto a character that I got it with like three years ago, and I barely see anything coming out from the shoulders.

As of 2016 (6.2.3) these items (all of the set) can be refunded for the full price in 燃燒之花.

I do not know when this change occurred, because there are no comments regarding this.

As of this writing (6-21-17) Mantle of the Fire Festival is now "cosmetic" and able to be transmogged.

*Note* Today is also the first day of the Fire Festival.

Sadly, it seems the holiday items such as these will only be "moggable" during their respective holiday events.

Confirmed.
This item and all related holiday items were not only removed from my wardrobe once the event was over, they were removed from my active mog.

(So (sadly) no mogging heirlooms to enjoy this mog year round)

As of 2019 - You can now purchase all four required pieces of the Midsummer Set from Midsummer Merchant or Midsummer Supplier for Achievement Burning Hot Pole Dance and refund your Burning Blossom currency once your Achievement is complete.

Has anyone bought these recently? I just bought the mantle, sandals, and the vestments, and when I tried using them on a plate user, got a message that they were not his preferred armor type. Tried again on a warlock, and they equipped like they were gear rather than cosmetics. Even after equipping them, they're still warbound, not soulbound, and I do not have the appearances. This isn't how they're supposed to work, are they?
