whilst its stats made it one of the best offhands for higher tier raiders, it suffered from one major problem for rogues.

There was no mainhand worthy of it.

The only mainhand fist weapon in raiding was the epic from Blackwing Lair, which was a lot lower DPS than the naxx items (the silithid claw in AQ was 1.6 speed, so useless for a rogue). Therefore, it was pointless for a rogue to go Fist Spec with this weapon, because they'd have to gimp their DPS using a low dps mainhand to match it. That's why most rogues stayed swords, because Naxx and AQ both had really high DPS mainhand swords to pair up with either Ibliss or Hungering Cold as an offhand.

Great weapon, looks very unique, but unfortunately it never really reached its potential. Only fury warriors would really have got much benefit out of using this before BC arrived.

@Sapphidia: Since fist spec only takes into account your mainhand weapon's type and since this was known since BWL was introduced this made an excellent offhand for any non-sword spec rogue.

This item dropped off 薩菲隆 until, when Patch 3.0.2 was released, 納克薩瑪斯 was relocated to 龍骨荒野 and converted into a level 80 raid.
