I'm sure you can figure out exactly what happens when you use this. But I had to try it just to sate my curiosity.

To confirm: this kills you. And summons an unfriendly Doomguard NPC that sticks around for a little bit then warps away. Death on demand can be incredibly useful, even via consumable, but I'm not sure the cost of 500g beats using 急嘯的「硝基燃料」 near a campfire. But for an alternative this seems pretty good.

Used this is combat and it has a revive option. Haven't tested but could be useful in a Raid for Wiping and reseting.

This is handy for the Desolace Crate which is only visible while dead. If you didn't buy one, the best thing to do is go to a nearby pond and drown, pick up crate while dead then rez at your body.

I checked my combat log and it said the damage this did to me was falling damage. Seems you can cast while moving. I tried to cast it while I was falling and it didn't seem to do anything but the damage wasn't fall damage anymore.

One item that can RESSURECT YOU, FROM ANY CLASS, in the spot, is the 覺醒火盆 (treasure from WoD), and it worked here. Just drop it at the tomb's entrance, pop the Scroll to summon the doomguard, CC it, and get inside to click the rune(s).

It takes just few seconds before it pops the Ress. I had dropped mine inside where the rightmost rune spawns in the floor, and popped the Doomguard at the entrance, outside, I was still within it's ress range. The effect of it are like some 'souls' coming from it into your corpse.

For those doing this for the puzzle, the Doomguard can just be present when you show up and the graffiti will be there. No need to spend 500g on a scroll.

Hey all, when you use this for the 4th riddle for Ratt's Revenge and the Felcycle, read the scroll right at the doorway to the tomb. which will kill you immediately. Your ghost will appear at the nearest graveyard, about 900 ft away. Run all the way back to the tomb, rez yourself, and for a short time you will be able to see grafitti written on the ground all round the central memorial, including on the rug in front of the altar, which can be a bit hard to see. Click on each and read them, and that is enough to light the fourth pillar. the demon will attack you the entire time, btw. ;)

Alternate method: as a demonology warlock, pick the talent Pact of the Ered'ruin. Now, use a target dummy toy (Tuskarr training dummy, etc) just outside the tomb in the doorway. Dot the target dummy with Doom talent, then cast Hand of Guldan to reduce the timer to get Doom to pop. Eventually, a doomguard will be appear to cast 5 shadowbolts at the target dummy. While this doomguard is casting, be quick and click any of the red runes on the floor inside Uther's Tomb. You have to hurry as you only have a few seconds, but this method works! I tested /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(84780)) and it came back as "true". Good luck!

Using it just outside the entrance of Uther's Tomb worked for me after failing three times trying to spawn it inside.
