Comparable to the Tier3 Faith robes, but easier to get since it drops off Fankriss in AQ40. Lack of spirit made up with some more regen. I used these until I got Primal Mooncloth, and still used for stam until I got Tier4 robes.

... Also the prettiest and coolest-looking robes to date (matching Robes of the Battleguard, Robes of the Shifting Sands, and Robes of Insight) due to the skimpy graphic it has on female toons. I know non-healers who want this now because of the looks. Matches other pieces of Faith nicely. Players never truly destroy or vendor these things...

This is one of the four robes whose visuals are inspired by the Princess Leia slave costume. They all drop in Ahn'Qiraj and come in four different colors:

Pink: Vestments of the Shifting Sands (AQ20, Kurinnaxx)
Blue: Robes of the Guardian Saint (AQ40, Fankriss the Unyielding)
Yellow: Robes of the Triumverate (AQ40, Bugtrio)
Orange: Robes of the Battleguard (AQ40, Battleguard Sartura)

The pink robe is probably the easiest to get, since it drops from the first boss of AQ20. Just get a friend to help you 2-man it, it isn't hard at all. It can even be soloed by a few classes. Enjoy!

I've run AQ40 so much that I'm Honored (near Revered) with the Brood of Nozdormu, and still no Robes! I started at Hated when farming for this dress the first time, so...yeah...

I finally got this after farming AQ40 for weeks.

I noticed while doing Scholomance on lowbies that the NPC casters in there seem to have a black version of this dress. But it's not available in game that I'm aware (and that may change).

ETA: We know the dress is available in yellow, orange, pink and blue but if it does become available to players instead of just those unfortunate evil students in Scholo, I will so totally update this.

For those interested in transmog, 蛛魔肩鎧 goes great with it. The ONLY shoulders I found to match, in fact. Took some AH farming, but after long last I got them! As mentioned previously, the runed spell-cuffs are amazing. I've yet to find a decent pair of gloves though =(

So I guess this hasn't been bombarded yet with transmogging matches. Yet it is one of the more beautiful cloth chest pieces you can collect... albeit it ridiculously hard to keep matching altogether.

Here is my contribution to matching this chest piece:

Helm: Heroe's circlet of faith (priest only)

Shoulders: Valorous Shoulderpads of Faith OR Lightning Infused Mantle (IMO best match, if you're lucky enough to have not done the quest or still have them)

Legs: 3 choices for this one; it's totally preferential. Arachnidian Legguards OR Leggings of Transcendence(priest only) OR Black Mageweave Leggings

Belt: Arachnidian Girdle

Wrist: Runed Spell-cuffs

Hands: Handguards of Transcendence (priest only)

Side note-- this is especially nice looking when you're a NE priest with same colored hair and on this particular Blue Drake

Since Fankriss has so many possible drops it took my priest 2 years to farm this dress. After much frustration and bad luck with RNG I finally got it.

I was exalted with the brood of nozdormu a long time before getting this item and had seen the red bug mount drop 34 times (a lot of my friends have gotten their red bug by running with me and 2 manning AQ40 hehe)

I even deleted about 26 armaments off the bosses because I needed bag space and still got exalted before getting the dress... so for those of you farming for this dress just keep at it ;D

My Priest transmog is:

Tier 7 Priest helm (halo Kel Thuzzad in Naxx 10 or 25)
Tier 5 Priest Shoulders (Avatar wings from Lootreaver in TK)
Robes of the Guardian Saint (Fankriss 3rd boss in AQ40)
Runed Spellcuffs from the badge vendor is shatt
Everwarm handwraps (no longer available, they are fingerless short gloves that allow others to see the bracers... too bad they are black /sadface)
Ruthless Gladiator's Cord of Accuracy pvp belt
Stonecloth Britches (random green off 35-38 mobs, you can also use ghostweave pants which are tailor crafted, the holes in the pants went the best with the robe but i am not totally happy with the look)
Arachnidian footpads (not the greatest feet but they are toeless and give a semi illusion of barefeet) I am currently hunting for the stonecloth boots to replace them.

With 5.3 I changed my gloves and feet.
Reformationist's Gloves and Griftah's Authentic Troll Shoes is now what I use for this set. I am not sure they will be available for 5.4 (2 days away) but I'm much happier with the look <3

Staff: Staff of Immaculate Recovery Gurtogg Bloodboil in Black Temple
Dagger: Fang of Oblivion OR Starshard Edge Algalon and Mimiron in Ulduar 25 man

Some of the Throne of Thunder weapons are nice too, like: (LFR links as they are easier to farm)

Off-hand: Lei Shen's Orb of Command off Lei Shen or Orb of Arcing Lightning off the Iron Quon

The weapons are totally my preference since they all have some kind of star/celestial aspect to them (and the staff looks like the shoulders). I'm sure many of you will figure out much cooler things in future patches hehe.

Love love love this dress. I was so psyched when I first won it on my mage. xmog makes this game so much better. Finally blizzard did something right! Most other MMOs have fully customizable characters. At least with xmog, we can all look different instead of like little carbon copies of each other in raid. :)

"Handguards of Trascendence" matches pretty good with the beautiful "Runed Spell-Cuffs". They do not cover the bracers and although they are dark (which sucks), the gold/azure decorations on the hand make them fit the design on the wrists.

man, i need a good one-hand mace and gloves to match these. the only real gloves that seem to match are either priest t2 or 力量之手.

i can match everything else well enough to make me pleased, but finding a good one-hand mace/gloves is frustrating me.

For a main hand I am currently using 玉晶匕首 (It's not a great match.)
I already had 龍捲召喚香爐 as an off-hand and thought it went well.

As a Draenei shoes aren't visible, I didn't transmog any.

I had a lot of fun killing Fankriss on my mage for this awesome cloth chest piece. Pretty easy to solo AQ40 in any class now, if you know the fights, it's easier for us clothies. FYI: If you would like the bracers, you can buy 符文法術腕輪 for only 182 JP. Happy Mog Hunting!

Hi all
Do anyone know if the drop rates for this robe / Vestments of the Shifting Sands / Robe of the Battleguard etc have changed since 5.4?

About a year ago I ran AQ40 / AQ25 about 3 times and had all 4 colour variations within the 3 runs (and it might have been even less actually). I have now been trying to get ANY one of the 4 variations for my Mage - for at least 6 or 7 weeks now - and NOTHING, some cloaks drop, some belts, otherwise it is usually leather / plate etc that drops. I haven't seen ANY of the 4 colour variations drop in all this time.

The only thing I can think of that may have made a diff was the 5.4 release. Have anyone seen this recently?

For people who don't want the Lightning Infused Mantle as shoulder piece. With patch 5.4 there is another with this colour, provided you can raid flex/normal.Shoulderpads of Dou Dou Chong Warlocks have more options, since the art is from their tier set.

My personal xmog set for 守護者聖徒長袍...

Head - none (this one is actually all entirely up to you - personally I just hide helm anyways).
Shoulders - 斗衝肩墊: Siege of Orgrimmar (raid) Protectors boss drop. *Make sure you're doing SoO on Normal or Heroic difficulty for the tealish colored version of 斗衝肩墊!* OR, as most people have also stated, 蛛魔肩鎧 if you have the gold to afford it on the AH, depending on your server's AH. To be honest, I personally prefer the Dou Duu shoulders between the two.
Chest - 守護者聖徒長袍: Temple of Ahn'Qiraj (raid) boss drop.
Gloves - 力量之手: Blackrock SPire (dungeon) boss drop. The boss might be tricky to locate at first but if you plan to farm for it, you'll have no problem memorizing the route each time. It took me about 4 or 5 tries until they dropped. MUCH easier and cheaper than going to the AH and paying a couple thousand gold for 蛛魔手套.. I still laugh at the people who spend that much gold when they can easily get the same exact model/color as a boss drop ;)
Waist/Belt - 殘酷鬥士精準之索: purchased at PvP vendor for 825 Honor Points.
Leggings - Any 永恆布質護腿, to be honest. Plus there are plenty of other items with the same model, so you shouldn't have any problem with finding leggings.
Feet - 蛛魔薄靴: world BoE, usually sold in the AH for a decent sum of gold (depending on your server's AH market). Another alternative - should you be unable to afford 蛛魔薄靴 - could be 石布長靴, which usually sell in AH for a cheap buy. It goes somewhat well with the set, if you can't get a hold on anything else.

And for MY mage, I use a 1H sword with a 冰風暴 xmog on it. It makes the it all come together so nicely imo. Any offhand of your choice would be sufficient; you never really ever see it anyways.

I loved this sexy robe the instant I saw it because it's one of the most unique colors in the game. Admittedly, it's hard to find perfect pieces that match this seafoam green and gold combination. I searched all the previous comments and found a perfectly matching hood, cloak, and staff that no one has mentioned yet. The staff has beautiful spheres that spin inside the golden wings. Night Elves have a perfect hair and facial tattoo combo to match this set, if you don't care for the hood. I submitted a screenshot, and here's a link that gives the names of all the pieces I used.

This dress matches with a lot of other pieces, but I've found that 符文法術腕輪, 閃電灌注披肩, 殘酷鬥士精準之索, 英雄信仰之冠, 力量之手 or 黑色魔紋手套, 編織便鞋 (or any dark shoe, because it's covered by the robe), and 艾森亞法杖 or 碧空之歌. Sadly, priests can't use the sword, so I would suggest the staff instead. But, if you're another class that can use swords, then go ahead! It has a nice blue glow to it that matches nicely with the robe. But then again, if you're another class, you can't use the head piece. Just go for something like 普巴爾公主的冠冕.

I've been trying for months now to get this item, obviously with no success. For a 17% drop rate, that's a bit strange. One question: Is there any way to run this raid more than once a week? I've tried resetting it but it doesn't work. Do I have to clear the entire raid? Also, should I be running it on heroic or should normal work just as well? Is there even a heroic mode? It seems to let me set it but there doesn't seem to be any difference in the raid. Thanks.

I feel like a lot of the arachnidian pieces go great with these robes. I've been meaning to make a set with it for a while, and went with a lot of the arachnidian gear, or items with the same model/coloring as them.

Head - Countenance of the Revenant I got this from current raid content with a 14% drop rate. (The view in the compare screen is a bit messy, just ignore it.)
Shoulders - Mantle of Nefarius Cata content with a 12% drop rate.
Chest - Robes of the Guardian Saint
Hands - Hands of Power The 12% drop rate on this is a bit annoying, but it's not too difficult. Just run into Lower Blackrock Spire, kill Quartermaster Zigris, run out, and reset. I think I did it about 6 times before it dropped. As a lock, I was able to pop a Demonic Circle near the entrance and teleport back to the beginning, across the rock drop, once I killed him. Didn't take very long at all.
Waist - Arachnidian Girdle I got lazy and scooped this up from the AH. There are no other belts in the game with this exact coloring.
Legs - Spellshock Leggings Also scooped up from the AH. It's generally sold much cheaper than Arachnidian Legguards, but if you don't feel like buying it then it's a 5% drop rate from a rare spawn in Zul'Farrak.
Feet - Arachnidian Footpads Another AH buy. There are no other boots in the game with this exact coloring.
Weapon - Staff of Athen'a Quick quest in Dire Maul's Capital Gardens wing. You have to complete and turn in The Madness Within before you can get The Treasure of the Shen'dralar quest for the staff.

OPTIONAL:

Back - I feel as though the robes look better without a cloak, but if you want one, here are a couple that could work:
(Cloak of Repose) Quest reward from Ever Watching From Above. However, there are many other cloaks in the game with the same model and coloring.
(Spellcloak of Suramar) Gear drop from Kazzak in Tanaan.

Wrist - If you're using anything with the Hands of Power model, then the wrist item won't be visible. But if you're using something else, this could work:
(Feathered Wrist Cuffs) Quest reward from Veil Lithic: Preemptive Strike. This quest is part of a small chain that starts with Return to Shattrath from Kirrik the Awakened.

Why have they never fixed 守護者聖徒長袍 and its recolors to hide leggings? They already have the coding in 紅色冬裝. Looks trashy with 黑色魔紋護腿 or 蠻族布質纏腰 (two of the more common player pairings) showing through underneath.
