I recieved this item from the wrapped present as I recall. But now I tried to put it in AH and it says:
"You cannot auction an item with used charges"
Item is still considered as "Binds when used", not Soulbound or anything, and I think it should've been gone under Companions tab when used.
Maybe it had charges before the new Companion system was invented and I used it once ? Can't really remember.

I can still trade it to other players though :)

You can get it from Auction House if you didn’t get it from your present. Attention:
You will not going to find it at "Pets" category on Auction House so try to link it by the name
Most realms about 100-300g

Got it this year aswell in a gift under the tree in Ironforge (I guees Orgrimmar for the hordes).

In 4.3 this pet will no longer require a snowball, however he will not be able to stick around during the warmer seasons. He tumbles over and falls apart after a few seconds.
