At 70, this guy isn't hard except for the MC's. Bring a mage, a healer, a tank and at least 2 or 3 more DPS. Be sure to keep MC's sheeped/feared because they get a huge damage increase and will one or two shot everyone. Tank him with your backs against a wall or something as his knock back is not damaging but annoying when he knock backs then MC's as the mage needs to run a ways to sheep the person.

For those of you who's wondering. Yes hes soloable atleast for a tank class. Me as a prot warrior had no problems dealing with him. Just bring a HP potion and clever use of enraged regeneration.

I would imagine Prot paladins and feral druids would have no trouble at all doing this.

there drops only ONE fragment for a party, e.g. if there are 5 people on this quest, only one will be able to loot the fragment. so for 5 people you will need to re-enter the zone for 5 times and kill him 5 times.

Believe it or not, i soloed that &*!@ as resto shaman lvl80. It took me 26 mins, but was fairly easy. Kept ES on me all the time and when i was out of mana, Water shield until i am full again. Mana tide on cooldown. End-game gear.

Easy for TG-Fury. You need moderate defgear, not the best. If you use Bloodthirst at cooldown, there's only one use of Enraged Regeneration required, no Healing Potions :-). My gear consists of a blue-purple mix between hero's and naxx 10. Look out for a good position to avoid the knockback - e.g. besides the platform of the emerald dragon. The corruptor's spell is not reflectable, but you will resist a lot of damage.

If you're soloing this boss, be sure to avoid having your back to the fallen tree directly behind him where he spawns, as being knocked into this can cause him to evade and reset.

Soloed as a lvl 80 hunter, i have full 258/264 gear and it took a couple attempts. Had to use my BT neck/Dragonstalker's Helm/Lesser Resistance Flask/MotW for the shadow debuff he uses. Ended up with about 3k health left when he died (taking about half of the shadow dmg/half resisted). Also had to save shots so that he didn't reset.

edit: couldn't use pet to tank it because he has a mind control and i killed my pet every time.

As a Blood DK tank, I easily soloed him. But I will also admit that it took for.ev.er. The warnings about accidental resets are totally viable. I probably accidentally reset him about 4 times before killing him. I just fixed it by attacking him with my back facing a wide amount of space for knockback and then just turned around to be knocked back the opposite way. Back and forth, back and forth. Worked quite well. Utterly annoying creature, this fawn.

I just killed him on my druid as boomkin, wearing 4/5 t10 sanc, took about 5 mins, just had to heal a few times and innervate once.

just soloed as 80 warlock affliction, no potions, no external buffs, no pet, just dots and drain life, hits for 2k and crit 4k
