I agree with the comments about Taivan, but this boils down to a numbers game. As in, the numbers of folks who have Taivan is INCREDIBLY low. Bakars are popular in game, so of course, it's a no brainer to mine that particular depth. I only wish they had waited a bit longer before pulling this trigger -- it was JUST last xpac, the achieve is still relatively new, and folks who have the mount are still few and far between. Let folks enjoy that achieve at least a full xpac before offering recolors, even if the model is slightly smaller, more spiky, ~~has a saddle~~ (so does Taivan, oops, just makes my case stronger). People are still going to go, "Aww, it looks like Taivan!" /shrug

If they are going to give us a recolor of Taivan than please have him the same size and I also want the same unique gate - not a wolf run. Taivin is purple epic mount while the Brown-Furred Spiky Bakar is an orange legendary. If he is legendary why is he smaller and has a vanilla wolf gate? It's stupid, Blizz really doesn't pay attention to this stuff and they wonder why all the criticism....

It’s disgusting how blizzard keeps adding cheap recolors of exclusive mounts and gives them for free to casuals who did not move a finger to earn the mounts. They need to stop with the recolors.
