I noticed no one has left any comments, however yesterday I flew in to the Glimmerogg snail raceway and along side me (like any normal battle pet) Newsy was suddenly following me! When I spoke to him, it had some chat that said Newsy was pushing me towards something. I flew around to mailboxes, etc., and he continued to follow but nothing happened. Suddenly I fell through the world and when I got back in Newsy was gone.

While I had Newsy I spoke to Briggul, no response from Newsy. I went to a mailbox, no response from Newsy. I walked around the "town" nearby, no response from Newsy.

I noticed a small mailbox on top of the tower at 47.21, 48.55 that got visited by a post snail I believe to be Newsy. I wasn't able to interact with the mailbox and the snail was gone quickly, but maybe there's a connection here?

edit: this is unrelated, it turned out to be one of the tailoring profession treasures. I'm 99% sure I saw Newsy there one time though, lol.

I'm wondering if this quest is a snail daily (glimmerogg racer rep daily quest) and as all those quests are is just random when it will pop up. Either that or it's tied to being unlocked alongside the currently gated campaign quests.

Newsy hasn't shown up since I did the quest she gave me when I completed Renown 7 with the Niffen. I've now completed up to renown 15 and no further sign of her :-/

Acquistion:

Unlock the 洛姆鼴鼠人 Renown track by completing the 10.1 Embers of Neltharion storyline up to 洛姆之味.
Increase your 洛姆鼴鼠人 reputation to unlock Renown 20, then accept 紐茲's 表達我們的感謝 and turn it in. (not sure if this is still mandatory with their May 26th , 2023 hotfix)
With that done, 簽名、封印、自行遞送 should now show up on 紐茲.
Complete 簽名、封印、自行遞送 to get your 紐茲!
1(this will flag the quest complete for the whole account, so you won't see it on other characters)

Don't worry about quests you didn't accept/complete, 紐茲 will still be around to get them done.

I was one who didn't read this thread before reaching renown 20 and the quest wasn't showing up for me. I forgot about Newsy and went to turn in an emissary quest with Maruuk Centaur. As soon as I opened the box, Newsy appeared and offered me the quest. Not sure if this is a coincidence but I'd say it's worth a try if he's bugged for you too.

The companion version of Newsy doesn't have the balloon to fly along side you unlike the quest giver :(

When i dinged level 20 reputation I went looking for Newsy and couldnt find her. I circled around twice, did /tar newsy, and was really frustrated. I decided to do more quests to finish up my weekly 'earn reputation' quest but of course after a few rare kills and a quest I realized . . . i cant earn more rep. I need to drop that quest. But I went back to town and THERE WAS NEWSY! Just waiting for me! In her usual spot.

It took a couple of minutes for Newsy to show up for me again after turning in A Token of Our Gratitude. I didn't do anything, just waited. Not sure if that'll help anyone.
