A friendly tip for those going mad trying to do various world quests. This trinket will cause you enough damage to drop things or stop channeling things that are needed for certain quests. It took me long enough to figure it out that I felt a comment here was warranted. Not sure how many others will figure it out before they have ripped out a majority of their hair but you can just click off the buff or create a cancel aura macro like another commenter did for successful stealthing. That being said I am a big fan of these kinds of trinkets and even more so the trinket that actually steals your other party members stats and gives it to you. Love the little mechanics like that. Great expansion overall. <3

after datamining all BIS trinkets in dragonflight S2 this is
TOP BIS for firemage (2nd is Chromatic Essence Bronze or Ruby Resonance)
2nd BIS for frostmage (1st is Chromatic Essence Azure Resonance)
2nd BIS for ele shamy (1st is Chromatic Essence Emerald Resonance)

Note that other Resonances of the Chromatic Essence can sim even or just slightly worse depending on:
- your stats and 30% softcap. for example for firemage ruby essence is great if you have uneven haste/versa spread
- the essences of other raid-members - try to have one of each resonance rather than going for your own BIS and having multiple of the same resonance
Communicate with raid-members and sim yourselves!

Based on ilvl 424 trinket the resonances give:
Bronze - 512 Haste
Azure - 512 Mastery
Emerald - 512 Critical Strike
Ruby - 512 Versatility
Obsidian - 128 of each secondary stat
