For anyone wondering what it actually does:
When near fishable water, it casts a fishing line out and plays the fishing animation endlessly. The animation has no end to it, so you can use it for RP or just to idle about in a more interesting way.

Actually a pretty neat toy for RP. Fishing as a skill has a duration until you can cast again, so having an indefinite option to 'fish' is pretty cool.

Shame it's locked behind such a frustrating ans useless engineering tree, or very high prices on the AH.

Can anyone confirm its tradeable on the auction house? Havent seen it yet on my realm and its not listed in the undermine journal either. I found all other "rummage through scrap" toys

Just because I haven't seen anyone say it yet, I received the Dented Can with Engineering level 62 and Scrapper 40/40 through the Eternal Palace first boss farm with invis tinker. I knew you could get the other toys without max engineering, but hadn't seen anyone confirm on the new toy. Didn't keep track of attempts, but farmed multiple hours each night for about a week to get all 4.

As of 10.1.5, it appears that the drop rate of the toys has been increased to 10%.

I just found this rummaging through Algari scrap, so no need to specifically farm dragon isles scrap, thankfully.

Can obtain this by rummaging through scrap with Khaz Algar Engineering.
Specifically, 10 points into the Inventing Spec > and 1 point into Scrapper sub-spec will allow you to find numerous Dragon Isles Toys when rummaging through scrap from then onwards.
