These things are cheaper to make/buy than Major Mana Potions with two stiff drawbacks. Obviously they take twelve seconds off your DPS/Healing time, but even more annoying is that the potion shows up as a magic debuff while active - and can be dispelled by friendly healers. Make sure they know what you're doing when you use this.

Useful for raiding purposes, if it's practical for you to be out of commission for that long. The main complaint I've heard from users is that a trigger-happy dispeller removes the magic effect too soon. It uses the same vial as its lesser version, but more expensive herbs.

Surprised no one has added this yet:
These potions stop you mid-air.
So, if someone tries to sky-gank you, pop one of these right before you hit the ground.
Note: You can't take these @ full health though.

Edit: As of 2.3 they no longer stop you in the air.

The was previously sold by Rin'wosho the Trader <Zandalar Supplies & Repair> on Yojamba Isle in Stranglethorn Vale. It required friendly reputation gain with the Zandalar Tribe to purchase it. As this NPC no longer exists in the game as of the Shattering, to my knowledge, the recipe does not either.

However, alchemists who learned this recipe prior to patch 4.0.3a are still able to make it.
