First off, the quest is in ZG http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=8227, you need to get this item first before going to Nat Pagle in Duskwallow. Once you complete this, you can buy it whenever from Pat.

Don't do what I did, tried to do it today.. didn't read everything completely and had to go back to Zul'Gurub again, then back to Duskwallow.

1) Find the quest in ZG that sends you to Nat Pagle
2) Go to Duskwallow Marsh once you get it to complete.
3) Do the followup quest involving and turn in.
4) Once you get the lure, then go back to ZG.

Not BoP......Could save some time getting one of these off of the AH instead of going all the way to ZG, then dustwallow, then back to ZG...Considering there's someone selling them

Contrary to what the tooltip says, you do not need to actually cast to summon the fish boss (or earn the achievement). As soon as you combine the five Zulian Mudskunks with the Mudskunk Lure you will gain the achievement and the boss will summon.

Wait until everyone is there before using the lure. ;)

Hay isn't Gahz'ranka whats in Zul'Farak is it something else?

When you use this item, for a few seconds, the lure will appear as a lootable barrel on the water. If you click it before it despawns, you can get an instant rebate on the 5 mudskunks used. If you're farming twice a week, you can save some time fishing and free up more time for smashing.

Tested as of Sept. 13, the lure is no longer unique. You can go to Nat Pagle in Dustwallow and stock up on these so you don't have to go back every time.

Oddly Nat still sells these, even though the fish that goes into them as well as the boss it lure up have gone since 4.0.1.

Despite the fact that the Mudskunks and Gahz'ranka are no longer in the game, Nat Pagle still sells these (as of 5/2/2012). Very weird.

Tested and Myth Busted. You can no longer fish the quest fish from the water, However, You can still buy the Mudskunk Lure. There is something really fishy about the lures still being available...
