The exact location is somewhat sketchy especially for someone who has never been inside Zul'Gurub. It is highly recommended that having the add on Atlas will help.The recipe is in the area known as the Edge of Madness and is marked as number 6 in Atlas. A bit of care is needed to reach this spot as there are patrols wandering the paths plus mobs along the way some of which can be hard to see. Most are grouped and range from level 58 up to 62, all elite. As you enter the Edge of Madness you will notice in the middle a Brazier of Madness as you mouse over it. Somewhat behind this on the wall is a large tablet and it says Mark of Madness as you mouse over. There are 4 other tablets on the wall, each is for a boss you summon using the Gurubashi Mojo Madness. Non alchemist clicking on the tablet will see a statement saying to the effect that there are scribblings that are indecipherable while alchemist are able to select a option to learn the recipe.

To get to the Edge of Madness, go in and just go straight (you will have to go around the coil) untill you get to a T intersection. A path leads off to the west, and the edge of madness goes into the section in front of you behind the wall. When you go in you will see a half-wall to your right with a gong behind it. There are 4 panels behind the gong, the one directly behind it is the one that teaches it to you (provided you have the skill level).

I wanted to try this out, and I made sure I was "right", if you need a specific boss, just use 1, as you will get the same boss on that lockout no matter how many times you reset. I did use 5 of this on the flame and all I got was the same boss 5 times.

Useless as of right now seeing as ZG was removed. But who knows if we will be able to use it in the ZG 5-man? Here's to hoping.

Post-Cataclysm 4.2.2 NOTE: This item is no longer available in the game due to changes caused by 'winning the war' against the Lich King and making decisive victories in both Eastern and Western Plaguelands. Banked versions of this are now technically greys (even as old blues) and should be safe to sell/destroy.

This item initially was used to make the 古拉巴什瘋狂魔精 in the formerly low-level Zul'Gurub raid zone for outside quests. If you still had this quest it either was reset with the zone changes or may be broken and still listed in those rare few people who had this quest on old characters. As listed above, the original questgivers have been removed/moved and the new ones have high requirements for the original zone level of this Mojo. The listed 英雄之血 reagent skill for 血之冠 was only created in Beta to test the new profession of Jewelcrafting. It never went into live servers.

I have this item, and it is still a blue item that is usable. Is it even useful anymore since ZG has been reincarnated as a level 85, 5-man heroic? If so, then where?

As of patch 4.3, my alchemist can still make it, if the mats are available.

I managed to sell them on AH per 7 gold each during Mists of Pandaria (I had had them in my bank since forever). Apparently someone was a collector of unavailble stuff or just thought "oh, a cheap blue item, must get".

As of Patch 10.0.7, after earning 殞落帝國的聖物, Alchemists with 300 skill in Classic Alchemy can learn how to craft this by interacting with the , which can be found in the Cache of Madness area of the Zul'Gurub Heroic Dungeon.

To get 古拉巴什貢品, use 古拉巴什瘋狂魔精 on 瘋狂之緣的火盆 while inside Zul'Gurub to make all mobs friendly and make you able to interact with bone piles.
There are 4 different bone piles that cost a different amount of Bijous each. You can use every pile as many times as you want. They won't disappear.

Here are the locations of the bone piles and the costs:
Behind High Priest Venoxis's spawn point
2 銀色哈卡萊寶石 or 3 綠色哈卡萊寶石 or 3 金色哈卡萊寶石

To the right of Bloodlord Mandokir's spawn point
2 青銅哈卡萊寶石 or 3 紅色哈卡萊寶石 or 3 金色哈卡萊寶石

In the back of High Priestess Kilnara's room
2 橘色哈卡萊寶石 or 3 黃色哈卡萊寶石 or 3 金色哈卡萊寶石

To the left of the biggest green cauldron in Zanzil's room
2 紫色哈卡萊寶石 or 3 藍色哈卡萊寶石 or 3 金色哈卡萊寶石

Thought it was interesting as i, and im sure others, still has this in alchemy even though once Cata hit, it would've been useless (since they changed it to where those with Archy can summon).

But glad they brought it back so others that missed it can learn it once more.

For anyone wondering about pickpocketing, I pickpocketed about 2/3 of the mobs in the instance (until I couldn't stand it any longer). Got no bijoius, a handful of Gurubashi coins for my trouble and a few junkboxes. But it definitely was not worth my trouble. Don't bother.

You can also, supposedly, fish up some of these items, but I put in a couple hundred casts and got old Cata fish, and maybe one coin (don't remember). Don't bother with that either.

I've been killing nearly all the trash in my runs, but that takes quite a while. You will get bijous and coins from trash, occasionally, so I suggest that you kill the big convenient packs as you move between the bosses, which is what I'm going to do from here on out.

I love old recipes! And I love crafting old gear and selling it! :)

If you are after the pretty sword 雷納塔基的靈魂分割刃 dropped by 雷納塔基, I hope this helps:

Prerequisites: To summon a boss you don't need a 古拉巴什瘋狂魔精. All you need is to learn 考古學 - skill 1/75 is enough, which will enable you to interact with objects within The Cache of Madness. So just use your 達拉然爐石 and head to /way 40.8 26.4; to the Archaeology trainer 博學者達莉諾絲. Then head to the centre of Legion 達拉然, downstairs in the Chamber of the Guardian and take the 卡拉贊傳送門. 祖爾格拉布 is just a tiny flight from 逆風小徑.

The instance is only available on heroic mode and has a daily reset, allowing you to defeat only 1 of 4 bosses within The Cache of Madness: 格里雷克, 哈札拉爾, 雷納塔基, or 烏蘇雷. Which boss gets summoned seems to be arbitrary and is not fixed on the same day, e.g. I ran it on the same day with two alts from the same realm and two different bosses appeared.

Clicking the objects around you, you will notice some offer the option "Examine the object". There are 4 distinct type of objects: 古食人妖文物, 古精靈文物, 古矮人文物, 古化石 and only one of each type can be examined. Once you examined all 4 distinct ones, this will trigger the event that will summon a boss.

If 雷納塔基 didn't get summoned this time or didn't drop the pretty sword 雷納塔基的靈魂分割刃, just log on another alt and repeat the instance, without forgetting to teach them 考古學 first.
