白金星辰指環 is one of 3 rings used to purchase 象牙商人巨獺 sold by 塔杜奇卡 in Iskaara, the main city for the tuskarr.

To purchase the 象牙商人巨獺 you'll need to bring 3 dungeon rings. These rings can be from any difficulty, at any ilevel and it doesn't matter if they have procced a socket or speed etc. They can also be from different difficulties, say for an example, one from normal, one from hc and one from mythic. You can also farm them while leveling in normal, since the ilvl doesn't matter.

The Rings required are:
暴雷雨戒指 from 狂怒風暴 (2nd boss) in
不穩定的秘法戒環 from 雷摩 (1st boss) in 蒼藍密庫
白金星辰指環 from 維薩穆斯 (1st boss) in 阿爾蓋薩學院 & can be chosen as a quest reward from 阿爾蓋薩學院

Note that this ring can be awarded from completing an Algath's Academy Dungeon Quest! You do not need to run the academy itself countless times.

As a 395ilvl Brewmaster Monk I was able to solo each of the three bosses in Azure Vault, Algath's Academy and Nokhund Offencive (2nd boss but you can start as first). Took approximately 7-10min per run and overall of 4,5hrs to get all items as I was a bit unlucky in NO dungeon.

423 ilvl Prot Warrior here. I was after this ring to obtain the 象牙商人巨獺. I did over 30 runs (solo, only killing first boss) with no luck of this dropping. I swapped to Arms loot and got it on my next run. Maybe a coincidence, but that's what worked for me.

If you plan on running this solo and want to be efficient with your time, be sure to utilize 矯捷充能瓶 for that extra little bit of speed and 寂靜之風藥水 to entirely skip the first few packs of mobs until you reach the boss platform. I was running 22.98% speed (1,747) and I could bypass all packs of mobs up to the platform, using the potion just as I was going over the bridge.

After you kill the boss, just jump off the edge an die. You'll keep the speed buff from 矯捷充能瓶 and then can easily port out of the dungeons, reset, rinse & repeat.

The rings can also be traded. If your friend gets one in the same instance run,
They can trade it to you.
OR
If you are dual/Triple boxing / Grouping, you can just get 2x/3x+ chances that the random drop occurs for at least one of the players.
They can just trade them to your main.

TWW - 80 frost mage ilvl 607, 5 runs and it dropped. Read notes on changing spec, changed on run 3, so dropped 3 runs after spec loot change.

Dropped for me on Normal. 6th run. Didn't do anything special. Did not respec or anything else beside just enter and start killing 1st boss.
