A lot like some other commenters here, I also got this in Shado-Pan Monastery.

This is likely user error on my part but I got the quest, didn't accept it right away, then got the soul in my mailbox again the next day and then was able to complete the quest. Might be work accepting the quest as soon as you see it on the right side of your screen.

Can confirm that it does drop. Got it from the final boss in the Stormstout Brewery. Took me 10 dungeon runs, but it was worth it in the end. 😁

Got mine from the final boss in Temple of the Jade Serpent. 5th dungeon.
As far as soulshapes go, this one is the biggest I've seen.

Got mine from the Brewery, it took about 10 or so dungeons before it finally dropped. Dropped from last boss. That seems to be the going rate.

This is a Soul Shape for those in the Ardenweald Covenant.

It can drop from any boss during the Mists of Pandaria Timewalking Event.

I saw the item and was curious what it was and haven't played in that covenant yet.

Hopefully this saves some of you more searching, if you didn't know!

Finally got this post 9.2.5; it took 42 runs, by far my worst grind for a TWing soulshape. On the plus side, panda TWing dungeons are also the fastest in my experience, so just keep at it!

took me like 50 - 60 runs to get this (first-day morning to nxt-day night), just like before, grindin' fae soul is a purely painful process

btw blizzard def nerfs all fae soulshapes' drop chance after 9.2.5, def

This dropped for me on a level 59 character, so you don't have to be level 60 for it to drop.

Just had this drop off Raigonn in Gate of the Setting Sun. It was my first timewalking dungeon of the patch, so I can't say to it's drop rate.

I can confirm it drops got mine during the recent mist of pandaria timewalk event from I believe Raigonn from gates of the setting sun after I believe around 30 runs while leveling so good luck for those trying to farm it 👌

Today, in patch 10.0.2 (pre-patch of Dragonflight), I got the 雲蛟靈魂 from 『武器大師』辛 in 魔古山宮 during the Mist of Pandaria Timewalking Dungeon Event. I had Night Fae as a covenant.
