This is probably the best looking and IMO best performing bow to get your hands on casually before entering MC, but it can be a real pain in the neck to obtain. All of the end bosses in Scholomance (Gandling excluded) have a chance of dropping this...a VERY slim chance. You can see this drop multiple times at the end of a run, or you could run Scholomance countless times and never see it. Good hunting!

Yes, this is one hulluva Bow to get, except it's drop rate is VERY low, 1-2%, so if you manage to get this...Hold on to it! I know a certain Rogue who found this, it lasted well into his mid-60s

This bow is really great. Not only does it look amazing, because in my opinion most bows are a bit plain, but it does great damage.

Dropped for my hunter off of Alexei yeserday, first time in Scholo :)

Does anyone know by chance how rare this bow is to drop off a mob? I've ran through Scholo twice now and nothing. I know it's probably a very low drop rate chance, but it'd be nice for my hunter to use this, plus it has a sweet graphic to it.

This is a good candidate for Transmogrifying if heirlooms, and the same skinned Charmed Ancient Bone Bow, are ineligible as a source for mogging.

Since you no longer need a key in Scholo, I took my lvl 40 hunter in over and over with a pali, jumped off the edge of the first bridge, and killed the two bosses for the mail. This dropped and it is wonderful in BGs. And I agree with the above poster, looks really cool. Like the spinal cord of some creature. Took like two nights of farming the chain for this to drop. Took another 4 or 5 days for the chain set to drop. edit (Have to do what you have to do to kick hierloomers butts)

Patch 10.1.5 re-added the original Scholomance dungeon (as "Legacy of Scholomance"), so you can once again obtain this bow.
