As a note, this may just be an odd case scenario. This trinket can hit targets that you have CC'd. My Rogue had this trinket on and broke the Blind CC that I had on the Shade of Bargast on Huntsman Altimor. The damage seems to be random at times and affecting any mob you may be in combat with it. I have seen it tick off on mobs that I am in combat with but not actively attacking.

FYI ABOUT THIS TRINKET!

Brewmaster Monk

This trinket will hit enemies at a 40 yard range while you are in combat as a melee class - I just tested at a training dummy. I was in combat with one casting Rushing Jade Wind and Spinning Crane Kick, and when i targeted a different dummy within 40 yards, the trinket inflicted damage (according to Details) to the far away target dummy that was not within my melee range.

This only matters because It happened to me multiple times whilst in a 10+ Mythic Dungeon, was looking ahead to mark some other mobs but then accidentally pulled it because of my trinket

Listed formula must be incorrect. would make each point of versatility increase the damage by 443, so adding a single +16 Versatility gem would increase the proc by a whopping 7136.

They seem to forget PHYSICAL damage procs on trinkets such as this one get severely mitigated due to armor -- It always does about 23% less than it says on your tool tip. Smooth moves, Blizzard!

Stop being so afraid of adding flavor and variety to your game and increase damage and proc rate on trinkets
