You need 破損的琪瑞安笛子。 first, it drops from 躁動的翼靈蛇 which are all around the forge.
Drop chance isnt good - its likely 5-10% so you may need to clear the area twice / three times.
After you got the flute use Windsmith's Tool on the forge to to repair the flute and obtain 晉升長笛

Requires Level 60, just like the 善行銅鑼 and the 超然風鈴 -- however you can access 天堂圓鼓 and 琪瑞安鳴鐘 at any level. You can play both to get the improved buff if you're in a party, each of you play a different instrument.

The flute gives a buff to Strength, it might just be main-stat, but it gives me strength as a DK

Not sure if it's a % or raw stat buff, but on my 60 DK it gives me 76 Strength.

When I had the Drums in the Bank and this Flute in the inventory, I tried to take the Drums from the Bank into my bags, and then... the Flute vanished. Gone. Treasure is gone too. Going to submit a ticket.

If you ever unlocked one of the instruments and lost it, you can get them back from "Pico" found at /way 55.7 27.9

I like to think the ascended flute is the best one between kyrian bell and heavenly drum. Think flute gave me like 85 AGI. Kyrian bell is what 700 hp heal every 5 sec? And drum is like 10...20?% mount speed.

I macro the item when I mount up, below my mount macro:

I don't know if it was just missed up but I had all 5 instruments in my bags at the same time and all worked. If anyone like me had/has all of the instruments do not, I repeat DO NOT pick up a second copy of any of them. When I did it removed the 琪瑞安鳴鐘 from my bag and Blizzards answer to me was "it has been removed it's because you may only hold one Instrument of Bastion at a time."

my quest partner runs a warrior tank
consequently I do heal a lot as well as provide most of our DPS of course

I used to be Kyrian, so I had the other 4 instruments in my bags already. Looting this item made my Kyrian Bell completely disappear. So now I have 4 instruments in my bags but I'm Night Fae.

I wish they would allow everyone to be able to carry all the instruments in their bags, especially if they're all on a shared cooldown anyway.

Alright, so here is the list of what the buffs actually are:

Ascended Flute: +80 to Primary Stat
Benevolent Gong: +100 to Armor
Kyrian Bell: 2% Healing every 15 seconds
Heavenly Drum: +10% to mount speed but capped at 220% on ground and 420% when flying
Unearthly Chime: Stealth buff of +100 Speed. Doesn't show on Character tab, stacks with Speed, doesn't affect mounted speed.

Take your pick on usefulness. Many use potions, enchantments, and food buffs so +80 on Primary stat has an effect, but say you have 1730 Intellect and 355 Armor.
Do you want an 80 point Intellect buff, ~= 4.62%, or a 100 point Armor buff, ~= 28.17%.

on all toons the bell has been useable outside in SL. Just had a L57 where it disappeared from bags and AB in Bastion, then in Maldraxxus it reappeared.

Try clicking on the item before you go around killing. I killed dozens with no luck, clicked the item itself and then the first one I killed dropped it. I have noticed several items that work this way in SL.

Today, I was retrieving my WoW in-game mail and noticed that I had another 琪瑞安鳴鐘 in my mailbox. I don't know where this came from but probably from when I was farming to get the rest the items for the Treasures of Bastion achievement. I already had the 晉升長笛 in my bags and been using it for a while but when I finished getting all my mail (auto-get), I noticed that the bell had replaced the flute.

So I had to fly all the way back out to Bastion and pick up the flute again from 披可. A real major inconvenience. So be careful when getting your mail or you too will have to make that unnecessary trip to replace which ever item.
