Worth noting that it is much, much easier to get an attempt on this half each day than the one in Vale off Will of N'Zoth. Gaze of N'Zoth in Uldum shares a spawn with Foul Observers.

This means that if you spend 5-10 minutes killing Foul Observers, you can force the rare to spawn easily. In fact, I've seen 2 or 3 of the rare spawn at once before. As far as I can tell, there is no kind of cooldown or anything stopping the Gaze of N'Zoth from spawning repeatedly.

This is fortunate, since the Gaze of N'Zoth also has virtually no health (1.5 million) and will die within seconds of coming into contact with players. In fact, the hardest part of farming in this method is getting your rare spawn sniped by the opposite faction in the 10 seconds it takes for you to get from one end of the farm field to the other end.

Im spawning this mob for months now with the one char that found the other eye. Often it takes about an hour of killing the observers to spawn the gaze and then its a pathetic drop chance. Its one giant middle finger to the players... for a toy.

85 tries now, this is starting to get annoying.

Edit: Got it yesterday (28.11.2020), first try after SL released. One thing to note is that I put the left eye in the bank, no idea if that might be a trigger.

been killing the rare on 1 char since nearly the start of 8.3 i missed out on a few kills here and there.
currently on 140 attempts......... had 2 left eye drops aswell.

This is a joke and a perfect example why WoW RNG sucks and why game has become terrible. Been killing both Will and Gaze of N'zoth since 8.3 on 6 chars and i don't have any pieces of the toy.

I couldnt spawn the Gaze at all last 4x i went to uldum. Today, after pre-patch i logged and it was already there!
Also, i got the right eye in my very first kill with the character that i had the left-eye.

That could be a huge outlier or they just stealth buffed the drop of this toy. We need more people/data to confirm this.

I literally just created an Account to comment - I just dropped the Right eye from the endboss of the Assault (Black Warden Rhothkozz) so it apparently not only drops from gaze of Nzoth.
