Another thing about this trinket, which has worked on a target dummy and in the open world, but not yet tried by me on a raid boss: You can use it before a pull and you'll get the buff without entering combat. Still can pre-pot and enter stealth (if applicable). Of course, if raid bosses act differently, that will surely be noted.

The on-use effect from trinket is really cool in terms of "role-playing" game-play. It's not exactly a new concept, however the idea of casting a spell from a powerful item in order to grant yourself immense power just feels really cool in-game. Something that people might not think about at first is that this is a great trinket to use right before the pull after your group/raid leader starts the pull count down timer. Basically you just use/channel the trinket 5 seconds off from the initial pull just like you would when you pre-pot so that in essence you aren't wasting any time by having to just stand there and cast it during combat. This really is a great trinket for those whom are willing and clever enough to get the full potential out of it by figuring out how best to use it at the proper moments in a variety of encounters and situations. Although I do understand that on-use trinkets are not everyone's cup of tea, personally I really enjoy these kinds of items and I do hope that Blizzard continues to make more interesting items in the future. It's nice to have both the set and forget kinds of trinkets, and the on-use types of trinkets that require some degree of micro-management.

If you use this and then swap out to another trinket, you lose the buff. No pre-pot trinket =(
