I stumbled upon a great little spot today while doing quests.

41, 64 in the Shattered Fields in Krokuun: there are draenei NPCs fighting a constantly spawning wave of bats. For some reason, when the bats die you can skin them even if you didn't damage them at all. If you stand in the middle of the road and have the Mother's Skinning Knife you can literally just sit there and collect free skins without having to move a muscle. I'm not sure how long this will stay, I feel like this probably isn't intended, but for now it's an easy way to collect some leather. :)

Just me but is this leather a bit useless? A single item for mail/leather.

Another great spot to farm the leather is around 72, 70 in Krokuun (Petrified Forest). I collected about 600 Leather within 30 minutes with Rank 2 Skinning. There are a lot of 暮鬃獵能豹 with an almost instant respawn.

absolutely bizarre that you can only make one piece of leather/mail gear with this. It's like Blizzard forgot to put the rest of the pieces in the game!

If you are trying to complete 需要的補給品：魔質皮革 for rep, then you can buy 40 魔質皮革 for 4 原始薩格拉斯精華 from 馬拉斯 on the Vindicaar.

Worked my way through this part of Broken Isles Skinning Technique and it was quite straight forward to get Rank 1 and 2 - just go to the Petrified Forest in Krokuun and kill/skin the panthers.

Rank 3 took me a LOT longer and after reading through some of the comments below I decided to unlock the Petrified Forest WQs. The item for Rank 3 then dropped after about 10 panthers - coincidence? Who knows, but worth doing the few quests to unlock the WQs either way.

2201 Fiendish Leather and 1 pet as part of the farm.
