I'm going to explore Shaladrassil tonight, I'll update if I find anything! Just because I didn't find anything, I could have possibly skipped over it. I am just writing to show I have thoroughly explored listed areas.

UPDATE #1: Exploring any area directly beneath the tree puts you to sleep and ports you to the entrance of Darkheart Thicket.
Will skim the outer area around the coast next.

UPDATE #2: Skimmed the northern coast in the zone, nothing.

UPDATE #3: I searched an empty Darkheart Thicket (ran it on Heroic, waited for trash to despawn from my lockout) for about 40mins and could not find any clickable object.

I just obtained Pure Drop of Shaladrassil's Sap from Archdruid Glaidalis in Darkheart Thicket (Heroic). As far as I know, it was just a random drop and I haven't done anything special to trigger it. Alright ladies and gentleman. I have a wild guess, but wasn't able to confirm it so far.

Anyone remembers the Feral Worgen?

You can only interact with them if you have the Sycthe of Elune (Hidden effect and Balance Druid only).

I've found quite a few by now but wasn't able to interact with everyone.

My wild guess is that you have to find and interact with them in a specific order. It could be possible that once you find all, one of these druids gives you the sap.

But like I said, I wasn't able to confirm it yet. I'm not even sure if every location is known or if there is something else to do even if you found and interact with everyone.

There was this for Balance Druid, but it could just be like the Fire Mage, flavor NPCs for a little extra Artifact Power:

There are six different Druids of the Scythe quests. Some of these can be completed by freeing different Druid of the Scythe NPCs in Val'sharah.

You will need to visit Feral Worgen, Feral Worgen, Feral Worgen, and the southernmost Feral Worgen.

Freeing these NPCs will complete 4 of the 6 Druids of the Scythe quests.

There are two other Feral Worgen that spawn that can't be interacted with like the others.

We aren't sure how to complete the other two quests or interact with the two remaining NPCs.

The first NPC you free tells you that he and a few others of his kind came through the Emerald Dream and went their separate ways.

Another guess, there's a moonkin statue in the sylvian vale in the northern regions of Val'sharah. The statue is close to shaladrassil which fits with the item note on the sap. But there is nothing to interact with, even as a boomkin. but what do I know.

Considering that the name of the item is "Pure Drop of Shaladrassil's Sap" could be that you find a Corrupted Shaladrassil's Sap and then you have to use Remove Corruption on it to make it pure. My guess is that you either will find the Sap in the open world or in the Emerald Nightmare raid

This is a blossom, From Shaladrassil itself. It doesn't look lively, but it's Disenchantable. So, my theory is, what IF, the sap came from the blossom? What IF you had to disenchant it to get the sap?

Has anyone checked around the cave where Branch of Shaladrassil is located? You can't stay in there long because "The Nightmare Begins to Take You" and ports you out. Maybe if you've cleared Emerald Nightmare you'll be able to explore that cave without being ported out? Wouldn't it be cleansed then possibly? Just my two cents.

Hi so I read through most of the comments and my suggestion is to have the research done on your artifact to a level 4 . I done that on my Druid with the fangs of ashamane and after I came back to Dreamgrove I got the emote about some sound coming from a portal in feralas and got my first owl stone there. So my guess would be something similar can happen with the other artifact and the rep with the dreamweavers. Not confirmed but it's just what I think.

Just a heads up for everybody else who is searching for this item: The description of 太陽之花 states that it has "not been seen in Azeroth since the War of the Ancients."

In my opinion, we shouldn't be searching for it in Val'sharah or the Broken Isles because it could be anywhere that was previously close to the Well of Eternity. Hopefully this comment helps and motivates people to look in other places.

Hello, so you noticed how the first boss of the Thicket talks to "you" as a druid when you fight him ?

Today I did this instance with 3 druids, 1 Feral, 1 Boomy and 1 Resto, The boss talked to each and everyone of us druids, We did not have the last druid ( Guardian )

So maybe, if we do this instance with 4 druids, each with the different specs, something could / might happen.

I contacted a GM to find out if the sap actually is in the current patch or not. Apart from confirming that it is indeed in the game I was sadly not able to find out any more about it.

After reading the description of 夏達希爾汁液的純粹鮮滴 I begun looking into areas and zones that are dormant with a hint of life. Desolace, Molten front, Twilight grove in Duskwood which I recently found out is a dormant volcano.
So far I´ve been having alot of fun searching for this item and learned alot about the lore of different areas and the scythe itself. I will definitely keep looking!

Random experimentation, and putting results here to save people time:

Went to the cave where the artifact power giving item that seems related to the tree was (further along the left side from the Emerald Nightmare instance portal, and decided to experiment - the two big adds do not aggro, the little nightmares give no loot, I thought 'maybe theres a trick here'. Set up the aim to kill both big adds together at the same time, while clearing the little ones in an experiment.
After much time back and forth I can confirm that nothing changes after clearing the adds, not helped that their respawn timer is insanely fast even for a new area. Perhaps I missed something, but doesnt seem to be anything worth there.

So far the only place where one could find an uncorrupted version of Shaladrassil is in the Emerald dream after you kill Xavius.

But where to look?

Normally sap crystallizes fairly quickly, so we might exclude any place that's not directly under the biggest tree's branches or roots.

Sap also comes from either cuts in the wood or due to a tree illness.

My theory is that if we manage to find a place where the world tree Shaladrassil is part-corrupted and part uncorrupted we will find a gaping hole pouring sap.

Edit: in the end i was right, the fight vs Archdruid Gladialis does take place in an area where Shaladrassil is partially purified.

So today our guild killed Xavius in normal in EN. We've been teleported to the uncorrupted Emerald Dream part. I started to interact with stuff.
First of all, there are 2 treants (big treants one on the right sight of the lake, other behind the Cenarius and near the exit portal). Both of them cast spells - one is catchable from the first trean (green void zones) which give us buff for 5 minutes making us a sunflower. Other is imo impossible (yet) to catch or you need to interact with something first.
Secondary, we can see spirit of Yzera crossing the lake time to time, heading into the cave. Inside, there is a flowe that is marked as ally and looks sort of corrupted. It is the only thing in the cave.
In my opinion, we need to have both treant buffs, then to go to the cave with a seed from exalted reputation with Dreamwalkers and only then we can obtain the final peace of a puzzle! Upvote please so that people can see my research! Thanks and hope someone will solve the mystery!

Has anyone looked into the corrupted power crystals in Ungoro Crater (In the Emerald Nightmare)?

I was messing around with them and the green one made me friendly with the beasts in Ungoro, and when I went out of the portal into the main hub I was able to target Malfurion as a neutral character. I didn't try to attack him but it looked as though I could have.

I took the portal into the room where we had fought Elereth and lost the power crystal buff.

Perhaps this has something to do with it?

I returned and found the buff lasts for 1 minute and you can attack Malfurion, however he has 930 million health (LFR) and doesn't fight back. I obviously wasnt able to kill him before my buff ran out.

Ladies and gentleman, Archdruid Gladialis in Darkheart Thicket (Heroic) drops this item according to a player from the U.S servers. (Has achievement AND the appearence on his current scythe, armory link - us.battle.net/wow/en/character/arthas/Kaisunn/advanced)

Thing to note!

After a couple of tries of solo queueing as guardian, I had been second guessing myself as to whether or not I could even loot the item as a tank, However the very next run into DHT, It dropped for me while tanking. So dont be afraid to go farm it solo!

Can confirm I got exalted with Dreamweavers and ran Normal several times in Guardian spec and just left after killing first boss. Did it 6 times, dropped while in Resto loot spec. You do not need to be Balance loot or Balance spec in order to loot.

Also , if you have another druid in your group with all the requirements for this to drop -- if you dont want it or already have it - you can trade it to another in your group. Was farming it with my boyfriend for this, I'm guardian. It dropped and was able to trade it to him.

Don't like RNG checks on hidden content. The check is supposed to be the conditions to unlock it (Exalted with the Dreamweavers + AK level is more than adequate), once I meet those conditions, I'd like to have a near guarantee that the hidden content will be rewarded. Instead it only "might be rewarded if you're lucky". I can understand a lenient RNG check, to make people keep working for it a bit. But that guy below me who said he'd gone 28 runs without it dropping... that's a little extreme. Should use a bad luck protection, but a more protective iteration than the one in place for legendaries and bonus rolls. I'd say maybe 10 runs maximum for this one.

Trying to make hidden appearances prestigious is kind of pointless, since some are easier to acquire than others, so there's no real prestige across the board for getting them.

A confession: I kept farming just the first boss with guardian druid on normal que specific dungeon. I hate myself a lot now, but I always left after the kill, until I got it. Took me about 10-12 tries to get it.

I attempted to solo it as well, but being at 863 ilvl, I only got the boss to half HP.

Got it on my 6th attempt in normal mode.

Soloed it by going feral, stealthing to the boss, running around spamming moonfire, making sure to stay topped off for the bleed and trying to keep rip up. Usually took 4 to 5 min. per try.

So this might have been a coincidence, but I tried farming for the sap about 20 or so times on various difficulties with the seed counterpart in my inventory. I then put the seed in my bank so it was out of my inventory and the first run after that, the sap dropped in DHT. So I'm wondering if it's best to make sure you don't have the seed on you when farming for the sap. I guess it makes a certain kind of sense as it would prevent you from activating the animation in the dungeon which could (a) slow everyone else down and (b) possibly glitch out. Who knows? Is this true for everyone else? Did you have the seed in your inventory when it dropped? Just want to confirm if this is a condition for the drop or not :)

The normal version is now also soloable as resto and it was faster for me personally than doing it as guardian (probably party because my resto equipment is better). Item level 890ish, just keep Sunfire+Moonfire up on him and spam Wrath while also keeping HoTs up on yourself (remember to use Flourish to extend them).

Should probably get it done now (if you're going to solo it) before Blizzard buffs the dungeons in 7.2!

Some tips for solo'ing him on normal in Guardian spec (I'm about 880 ilevel when writing this).

1) Stealth to him. You can stealth by all the adds including the 2 bears right before him. Once the fight starts the vines will isolate the area and the bears won't join the fight.
2) When fighting him you can throw a heal on yourself after he charges (just be sure you're far enough away). Naturally it's a long and boring fight as a tank.
3) Unfortunately you have to stealth back out to reset the dungeon and try again. Be careful of pats, if you die when going out you rez back at boss site.

It took me 5 tries and I got it.

Just did this. Got it on my 3rd run on normal.

I am iLvl890. Soloed the boss on normal as guardian with all artifact traits (except concordance of the legionfall). I stealth past all the mobs (including bears) to get to the boss. Soloing with guardian was a relative breeze, even though my dps was ~200k. I tried to solo with my Boomie main WITH the legendary boots that grant big heals, but was not able to (couldn't outheal the damage). I am sure feral is the best spec to solo because of the constant healing procs they get. Resto can solo it but it will probably be the slowest.

Some notes: I had the Seed of the Solar Flare in my inventory (thus i was exalted) and at AK 40 (well past the required level).

To do it the fastest, I stealth past everything; kill the boss, then use the Class Hall teleport (Dreamwalk) (you can also go into the dreamgrove to change talents if needed between fights). Reset all instance (right-click on your portrait frame). Then wait for Dreamwalk CD to come off (60 second cooldown) and use it again. No need to run back to entrance with this method!

Just finally got this today. Went in as Balance maybe 10 times and never any luck. I got tired of the long Queues, so I put some AP into my Resto artifact and went in as heals. Second run as heals on normal and it dropped. Yay.

For anyone planning on farming this, remember that you can port to the front of dungeon using dream walk.

Go to instance
stealth to boss
Kill boss
Dreamwalk
Cast dreamwalk again when it comes off cooldown.

You will be at the instance portal.
Walk out, reset, repeat.

I went in as tank SOLO, set the loot to balance just in case, went stealth until the first boss (Archdruid Glaidalis), though I did have to kill two bears on the path just before him because I couldn't stealth around them, killed the boss (first time on heroic on accident, second time on normal) and got the sap on the second try.

And using dreamwalk to get out after killing the boss and then using dreamwalk again immediately did put me right back inside the dungeon. Just don't forget to reset all instances while in the dreamwalk before you go back in or you'll have to port out and back in again, again.

Little difficult on heroic as solo but super easy on normal and that's the instance that it dropped in.

ran this about 5 times and got it to drop.

for farming its easy to go in. stealth to first boss, kill and then stealth back out or just travel form and run back out. reset and go back in. did not take more than about 10 minuets i think? boss died with in 30 seconds of pulling. very easy to do. It still gives appearance too.

Don't forget you can Dreamwalk out after killing the first boss, reset all isntances, Dreamwalk back and you're at the start of the instance! Easy farm.

- Seed of Solar Fire was in my bags.
- I was Feral loot spec.
- My artifact weapons were in my bank .
- I doing Normal runs.

- Enter instance, stealth all the way to the first boss. Using Dash, Stampeding Roar and Feral Charge on cooldown. Feral Charging in stealth does not reveal you :D
- Not killing any mobs at all, just sit at the edge of the first boss's shield
- Kill boss then immediately Dreamwalk out
- Reset all Instances
- Dreamwalk back

Rinse and repeat.

Got it on my 8th kill.

It's incredibly likely that you MUST be exalted with the dreamweavers to make it drop.

I did 30+ runs and didn't have it drop before being exalted.

After I became exalted, it dropped within 5 tries.

Requirements :
- get Exalted with Dreamweavers faction
- go to Dreamweavers quartermaster and buy the Pure Drop of Shaladrassils Sap
- go to Darkheart Thicket
- make sure you have the Seed of Solar Fire in your bag
- kill the Archdruid (first boss)

I'm not sure what the drop rate is. I got it on first kill but it seems that was just using my RNG luck up since other ppl have had to try several times. GL!

To combine the items you will have to swap specs to Balance
** the drop will happen for any spec though, I looted it as feral).
Then you clear your form (shapeshift) to combine.

Congrats, you now have a fiery Scythe of Elune :)

I got a unique dialog from the boss before it dropped - "What is that you hold, Druid?" - indicating the Seed of Solar Fire in my bags. I think that dialog may indicate that the boss will drop this item.
