This mace is a rare drop that drops off "Chok Bashguud" In Blackrock Spire. This weapon procs quite a bit, and in long boss fights it's quite easy to get the 3 proc stack. Combine that with 5 sunders and you help your DPS classes out quite a bit. This Mace is one of the best Tanking non-epic weapons you can get. Due to it's 1.80 speed it's on speed with most daggers. This allows a nice steady rage stream for Sunders and Taunts.

-You will want to run LBRS for this item, He is in a room of orcs just prior to the last boss.

This is definitely a good tanking weapon, however, if you're having problems getting the drop, you can also try getting Rivenspike, which is quite similar, even down to the proc.

I am curious. I was attacking a brewmaster with the heirloom bonus armor neck and cloak. I noticed that the effect only lowers the targets base armor and does not lower the bonus armor values. so once it was applied, the target still had 20 bonus armor from the neck and cloak(lvl 64) Is this a buggy tooltip or is bonus armor not affected by armor reductions procs like these?

The proc on this is currently extremely good and as such this is a very sought after twink weapon for melee classes. It basically gives 100% armour penetration on a proc.

Nerfed sometime around the August 5th hotfixes in 6.2 to no longer proc (at least in raids?). Prior to this, it was a rather large boon to physical damage (since current raid bosses appear to have rather low armor). Ironically, however, Arms warriors in Mythic don't see usage due to their ridiculous uptime on Colossus Smash, anyway.

This just dropped as enhancement shaman specialization on personal loot, even though it's has strength.

It is a good support weapon for Timewalking. It increases the DPS done by the group.
Ideally, tanks should use Bashguuder if they don't mind doing less DPS.
Also, unfortunately, Bashguuder doesn't drop with scaled ilvl in Chromie Time mode.
