this is typically cheap, 10g, plus or minus 3, and is definitely worth picking up on the older servers. the only competition it might have at this level for a 2h shaman, a druid, a pally, or a warr is the cobalt crusher, only for its proc of 100ish damage. imho at least. feel free to tell me if there's something better.

Did they perhaps mean "vicious" hammer? Unless of course, this hammer has a high fluid resistance to movement.

even though the weapon level of this item is 35, you still cannot enchant such things as savagery sadly.
so either that rare BOE or http://www.wowhead.com/?item=9408 from uld.
lot of lvls to wait though.

Randomly looted from a chest in SM, my friend was dismayed when I said I'd go to AH with it then give to his warrior, though I needed the gold pretty badly.

Adding to my 40 mount gold, just enough to get it. Hope the buyer was happy with his purchase :)

Awesome hammer looking at the raw stats. I was planning to get http://www.wowhead.com/?item=7710 for my druid and enchant that with +25 agil, but I checked the AH and found this beauty, same stats but with +6 stam. Slapped a +25 agil and Nothing should replace it for a LONG while.

Note: I'm still gonna get http://www.wowhead.com/?item=7710 for my druid pimp set. Got the tux set, just gonna need http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25682 to finish it up :P

Is this weapon also a good choice for a retribution paladin (blood elf, playing with burning crusade)? I know an ideal weapon for a ret pally is a slow 2h weapon... I also have 'Burning War Axe', so what's the best weapon for me? Or should i maybe look for another, which can be quite easily obtained?

Note: Corpsemaker may be the best weapon for me but I haven't found a way yet to get it...

Can be found in Dustwallow Marsh, I got mine off a Privateer but any mob has a chance to drop it and other blue items. Dungeons have better chances and hunting for chests above a certain rank also contains blues. Happy hunting whichever way you go!
