I would have to agree 99% on that it being a Hunter Weapon same here I have a 29 rogue twink and a 29 Hunter Twink both of my Characters have these as duel weilding and I would have to say I do so much betetr with 1 Agility Enchant on main one and then a Beastslaying +6 on the Off-Hand !

Nothing for a rogue/warrior whatever, If your not a mana using one? ;) Paladins can have use for it, spirit/ intell and good dps.. unless you put agility on it or something
then its atleast worth using for a rogue/warr in my opinion, .. theres better weapons for u guys, and if you go somewhere, and this drops and your in group with a spellcaster that wants it.. Dont roll for it!

this is the best prot pally weapon at this level giving intellect and stamina the two most important attributes of a protection paladin. A rogue should be going after items with +Agility and +Strength not intellect, but none the less the damage is good.

tested my dps, and Butcher/zealot does more dmg than zealot/zealot, butcher/legionairs, zealot/legionairs...better stats w/ butcher/legioniars, and with the loss of a few dps, u get +stam and +str, which cover's the lost dps IMO...zealot is over rated

i have seen people try to sell it for 100gold on AH, it will never sell for that unless your really rich because you've bought gold, or have a 70 who's willing to pay for that. I think it will only sell for about 30g IF your lucky, remember level 19's here.

A random world drop means that it may drop from ANY mob within a certain level range, in this case Lv 32-36. It's therefore impossible to farm. Also, the Lv 28 WS sword hs nearly the same damage output and +3 Stamina, so you just might settle with that.

This is a great sword, but Thornspike can be a much better weapon for rogues, with +8 to agility, which will increase you attack power, and also increase dodge and armor. the additional AP makes up for loss of ~dps the zealot blade has making Thornspike much more useful and it alot easier to get. with a over a 40% drop rate (using personal % rates) Thornspike is also faster for better poison aplication and it is not unique, meaning it can be in both hands at once. and it is a dagger so for rogues this is overall a far better weapon than the zealot blade. but if you are looking for a weapon greater than both of these try getting Torturing Poker, its a BOP from SM about 6% drop.

I hope this info helps, maybe someone can elaborate on just how much the 8 agility helps at level 29, at 60 the AP conversion is 14 ap=1 dps but as far as i understand at 29 it should be less than 14AP for each point of dps. It should on average produce more dps than the zealot blade.

I would suggest this for 29 twinks (Warrior and Rogues). In mainhand you put Zealot's Blade, which is slow and have the largest damage I can find on any one-hand weapon in this level, as off-hand I would suggest something like Thornspike, beacuse it have decent damage and is really quick, usefull for rage and poisons. The only thing which i really hate with Zealot's Blade is that it have intellect and spirit on it. Which is quite useless for Rogues and Warriors, which is reducing the effectiveness of this weapon. But it still beats any other weapon I can find. Just get a 15+ agi to replace the lost stats. The only thing which can compere is the Butcher's blade, which has stats 5 agility and 4 stamina. But it's more expensive and less damage.

Got this last night from a bloodscalp headhunter while using the WoWHead client =)

I like this sword so far. But like someone mentioned, if paired with a fast dagger on the other hand it makes it for a deadly combination.

Due to the attribute bonuses, this is actually a pretty good weapon for warlocks or magi. However, due to its damage potential, I'd probably also recommend it for a paladin.

I was going to use this and twink my paladin but I decided not to twink him. This sword still proved to be pretty amazing for a lvl29 tanking paladin. I suggest for all 29 pallys that don't use a 2hander.

While doing RFD, I was sent back to the meeting stone with our pally at the time to summon a new mage who replaced our old one who had to log. She had to bank real fast before we could summon her, so we just sat there and waited. Finally I decided to just kill a nearby Razorfen Battlegaurd (1 of 44597 Count) just for fun. What do you know, but it drops the Zealot Blade. Everyone in my party quickly "Needs" it, but of course, being the idiot i am, i accidentaly press "Pass" thinking it to be just some low selling item, not really worth the time. Checked it up on AH, saw it selling for over 100 gold, cheapest buy out. I immediately slam my head on the desk and proceed to bleed all over the place and fall into unconscious.

I bought a pair of these for an amazing price of 29g each when I was a 29 twink warrior back in the day. All I need to say is, they rip things apart. But sadly.. quickly replaced once I lvled into the early 30s. They don't last long.

I have a 29 ret pally twink and sometimes i flag run when no1 else can. As of now for flag running, i have the Legionnaire lvl 28 sword and marbled buckler with 18stam. I am wondering what would go best with my marbled buckler: the zealot blade, the butcher, or my lvl 28 legionnaire sword. And if u have a comment for what enchant would best fit what wep, that would be cool too.

I believe this is also very useful for Paladin twinks as an intellect weapon. I use Crescent of the Forlorn Spirits(http://www.wowhead.com/?item=2044) with +40 spellpower, and am using this weapon with 22 intellect for long fights, or if i need mana Illumination + Spirit is WIN. Best of luck finding yourself one, found mine in neutral AH for 150.

The price on this weapon has been lowered considerably,I was able to purchase it for 60g in a horde auction house. With an enchant of either stamina or agility,this is a very useful weapon for the 29 pvp bracket.

You guys are also forgetting another important class that could use this, Hunters. Enchanted with 22 intel, gives you 27 intel, and if speced right that gives you 27 ap, dual wielding them would give you, 540 mana and 54 ap. good for going long periods of time without drinking. Or you could use the sentinel's blade and this for more of a balanced combo.

i got mine on my feral lvl 29 horde druid in a CHEST! from inside the cave you need to kill yetis in wish is located in hillsbrad. there is nearly always a chest i nthe center of the cave (the big open part) and it was in it :|

p.s. just out of interest, why would you use this on a rogue if it has intellect?

For those looking to use this sword for their 29 twink arcane mages (one of the top class / specs to twink right next to moonkins and furry warriors) be careful when you're buying this off the auction house I saw a zealot blade for 3k and jumped on it, for some reason though its required level was 42 and it had 40 int 10 stam and 10 vers.
