Anyone found this yet? Its listed as a world drop in wardrobe. People say it should be sold by Jenri in the Rogue order hall but all he has is the chest gloves and shoulder. Dunno what it takes to unlock it if its hidden on him. Detection didn't seem to do anything. Drinking the Zanzil poison didn't work. Tried pick pocketing him, nothin. All I can think now is to go back and farm Heroic BC dungeons because the items are listed as ilvl 110. Perhaps it has something to do with all that twine we've been collecting? Maybe you hand him enough twine and he makes it into a mask and boots. Anyway would I love to know if anyone has even seen this on someone yet.

~~unlike* the thunderfury we have yet to find where this is stealthing~~ comes from the little chest of coins found by the steps of the artifact booster when you turn in a card or coin to martin noggenfogger.

Putting a list of possible ideas that I've seen online together. Lets start scrubbing some of these off the list. Feel free to comment on what you think we can cross off or if there's anything I should add -

1 - It's a random drop from one of the lootable items in the vault
~~2 - If you fill up ALL the armor stands with each tier then it unlocks it nearby~~
~~3 - It'll be a drop somewhere from BC Timewalking event (I assume this is cos it's 110ilvl. No clue where it'd drop though)~~
~~4 - It's one of the "items of value" you can randomly get from sending Defias Thieves on missions~~
~~5 - Its a random Order hall mission reward~~ - Positive SOMEONE would have seen it by now if true
6 - You're meant get it from pickpocketing other players... which Blizz removed just before launch, so it's unavailable.
~~7 - it'll unlock after reaching AK6~~
8 - It comes from pickpocketing elite mobs (or some other incredibly specific mob)
9 - It's a reward from unlocking all of Griftahs masks
10 - It's a treasure hidden somewhere people are yet to find (even with all the Thunderfury searching)
~~11 - It's a proc from the Pocket Friend somehow~~ - Can't even use in Ashran
12 - You need to be in the "Suspicious Crate" disguise somewhere specific
~~13 - Connected to Jes'rimon.~~ He says exact same line in Ogrimar, they've just not changed it.
14 - It's from interacting with the Unwary Adventurer somehow
~~15 - You can use PVP Crimson Vial to res Unwary Adventurer~~
~~16 - Underlight Angler. It (and the boots) can be fished with a talent on the fishing artifact~~ - This just drops vendor trash
~~17 - Pickpocketing other players in Ashran or World PVP Zones~~
~~18 - It's in Ravenholdt when you use the Order Hall scroll to get there.~~ - Nope, it's just same old Ravenholdt.
OR..
blizz forgot to add it. It'll appear like magic in the next patch.

I've been looking around Dalaran and I found this lock box that glows purple (like the treasure kind of glow). It's on the right of Greymane Enclave next to a shadowgrove caster and Desmond Gravesorrow corpse. But you can't interact with it. I've tried using Detection, pocket friend, pick lock, but nothing happens. The thing is, only rogues can see it. I've tried looking for it using alts but they couldn't see it. Then a rogue passerby was killing the shadowgrove caster and I asked if they can see the box and they could (lvl 100 rogue). So I am assuming only rogues can see it. SO there is a box and I don't know how to open it.

*Oh. And it sparkles when you enter cinematic mode (Alt-z) <--- but that's everything you can click on lol or can't for this matter.

Well, I'll just throw out ideas for now. One thing I noticed is the bandit that checks out the unwary adventurer is always mad. You click on them and they say stuff like when you keep clicking the same NPC over and over. The other two bandits aren't like that. And the angry bandit goes and yells at someone invisible afterwards. I'm trying different emotes to see if anything pushes them over the edge or something. I don't know.

Jenri <Spymaster> is looking directly at the unwary adventurer and the bandit is on a loop walking to the corpse, looting it and going back to his position on the bridge. During his 'conversation' there he gestures towards 'Jes'rimon' His dialogue is:

..Do not look so surprised, <name>. There be shadows even on the highest perches of Orgrimmar--somethin' must hide there.

...The Shattered Hand take that role willingly. Thrall, even in his good heart, acknowledge that the Hand be necessary to ensure orc and troll safety.

So I've started searching Org. Can anyone suggest where 'the highest perch might be' ?

Unless I'm overthinking this, it's got to have something to do with pick-pocketing. The "Artful Dodger" (i.e. Jack Dawkins from the novel, Oliver Twist) was a pickpocket. Seeing as how they've made 馬林‧諾格弗格的幸運硬幣 an item to grab in this expac, they've got us out purposely pick-pocketing. Maybe we just haven't found the right mob to pick-pocket yet.

Hope is rapidly fading. I must have sapped and pick-pocketed nearly every single NPC on the Broken Isles and yet nothing. That lay-about Marin just looks at me with this obnoxious smirk on his face, when I hand him another coin. Another bag of powder, another stinky pair of boots. And Jenri? Jenri just gazes into the cold, dark of the dead adventurer's lifeless eyes. I have stood alongside him waiting, but nothing appears. He remains motionless and empty. These wretched sewers! The stench grows more foul every day. I could have sworn I felt moss crawling up my leg the other day. I just seek this mask and I shall take my leave.

On my side, I asked a GM about this item, playing on a French server, hopefully to get a precise answer.
Here is what I got :

"De ce que j'ai pu voir dans notre base en interne, l'objet existe bien, mais cela ne donne aucune information sur comment l'obtenir je le crains. So all our efforts to push Blizzard into giving an answer about this have finally paid off. Thanks to the Rogue community who took initiative for it.

Short Answer: It's not available in-game yet and the source was bugged. It will be available in 7.2
Currently obtained from the Vault in 7.2 PTR.

Update 3: Got mine from the Coin chest which spawned when I turned in a ticket to Marin. (Uploaded screenshot of my Rogue in Red/Black).

Update 2: They've fixed it. Drops from the vault with a low % drop rate.

Update: Seems like the PTR Source for this (Small Coin Chest) is Not Working in Live 7.2.
So basically we're back to where we started. I guess we should all write tickets for this & submit a Bug Report on Forums.

Seems my comment was deleted. Can anyone confirm if the chest spawns as a result of the turning in the coin or just when turning in the ticket? I've turned in well over 40 coins now and haven't had the chest spawn. I turned in three tickets and the chest spawned, but no mask.

There's no point in going after the coin if turning it in won't spawn the chest, that contains the mask.

EDIT Update: Turned in 7 coins today, chest spawned 3 times as a direct result. Still no mask, but the turning in the coin DOES spawn the chest itself.

EDIT 2 Update: No vault ticket received since daily reset. Turned in 6 coins, on the last coin, chest spawned and I got my mask.

tl;dr - chest will spawn with just turning in the coin, mask can spawn as a result.

For those looking to farm 精巧閃躲面罩 or any of the other pieces, you can reliable do so on days when the is one of your daily rotated vault choices. Once you confirm that the small coin chest is one of your choices, you can go out and pick pocket 馬林‧諾格弗格的幸運硬幣 to turn in and loot the chest again. Personally it took me 5-10 minutes to farm each coin by flying to Suramar and back but I got my mask on my seventh try.

Just picked it up from the Key to the Palace of Lei-Shen on the wall, after handing in a lucky coin to Marin. So, it's not just the small coin box that can drop this item.

Just got one to drop from the thistle tea cup just now. But, when I clicked on the thistle tea itself, the cup disappeared. And the mask along with it. Didn't realize the *!@#er was gonna despawn. Now the mask is gone seemingly and I am pissed. What the hell, Blizzard?

I just received this item (20th April, 2020) from the big sack right next to him after handing him one coin on my first try. Before that I handed him one ticket. Went to Suramar, pickpocketed a random mob, got a coin, handed it to him and had only thistle tea and the big sack as my two options. Looted the big sack and got the mask.

I received this today from my second vault ticket. It was the first time seeing the keys on the wall so I grabbed them and got this along with the keys!
As a note, I'm level 41 and the item says "requires level 45" - however, it let me use it as transmog already. :)

Got this today, took me about a month, maybe more of constantly sending as many teams out as possible. I got it out of a bottle of vanishing powder. The thing that was odd was, usually I get three items to choose from, but today I got a fourth, and the fourth was the vanishing powder, the other three I got pretty consistently.

I received it after about 2 1/2 days of farming or so. I tried several farming locations, but my favorite was ultimately rotating between Felblaze Ingress and El'dranil Shallows/Eye of Azshara.

Pocket loot resets after 10 minutes, so being able to cycle between these and having them closely accessible from the Dalaran FP (about 52 seconds there and back) was a huge help.

By the time I was finished I had 79 Keys to the Palace of Lei Shen and 16 Thistle Teas.

I used two Vault Tickets in total, but the vast majority of turn-ins was through pickpocketed coins. I'd read that turning in the coins without first turning in a vault ticket consumed them without allowing you to loot anything in the Vault, but this didn't appear to be the case for me. On both the daily and weekly resets I was able to turn in the coins and loot from the Vault.

Just wanted to say for anyone who wants to farm this in 9.2, look at jma919's comment as this worked for me. 5-10 minutes pickpocketing in Suramar and handed in the coin 6 more times and opened the Small Coin Chest every time - after handing in my vault ticket and opening it once prior.

As of Patch 10.1.7 in this still drops. I got it from the small coin chest on my 5th coin turn in of the day, I had 2 previous coins yesterday, but the chest was not available, I did get the Boots of Artful Dodging from the smoky boots though.
