The fact that it's only visible to yourself kind of defeats its purpose, but I can understand how it would be annoying if everyone used this in let's say a raid. However, this item would be a whole lot better if you could use it on someone else. That way you can mark someone, like a tank or someone else you need to follow, to be able to see them easier without using markers.

Has the same light effect as 長者的月亮石/伊露恩之石, except that it moves with you and only you can see it.

This item seems really cool at first, but gets very annoying, very quickly. If you're not into toy collecting, don't waste your gold.

While it is a bummer that only you can see it from a fun/vanity perspective it actually serves a functional purpose when shooting videos or streaming. It truly creates an easy to follow spotlight on the screen.

Now I can "share the spotlight" with my Blossoming Ancient. A cheap thrill, I know, but it'll be one of those screenshots that brings a smile to your face.

Side Note: Handy for getting a better look at yourself with xmog testing and new gear if you're in a dimly-lit room or dark dungeon.

As only the caster sees it, it may be useful for when people are recording raid fights and stuff, or on a stream.

Very effective when using the Action Camera function! Sometimes it's really hard to see where your character is, but with a huge pillar of light surrounding you it's much easier to see where you're at.

The wild thing is they made this invisible to others, but added a very similar toy in TWW that is VERY visible to everyone else including a flying drone that shines the spotlight and another flying drone holding a sign with a giant arrow pointing at you
